I've given hundreds of reviews across various social media platforms and they're generally all good. This is only the 2nd one star review I've given in 15 years. I'm in customer service and so I'm very understanding of the issues organizations deal with.
We bought the top end sofa, love seat, recliner in the store. Major $$$. It took two weeks for one piece to be delivered, while we wait for the next shipment in December. That's fine, we knew that when we ordered it but 2 weeks seems to be on the long side. On the morning of delivery they called to say they'd be there in 10 minutes. After 5pm, over 8 hours later, they hadn't showed so my wife called. They said they'd be there within the hour. At 6 pm they called to say they were 45 minutes away which I couldn't wait for because we had reservations for my wife's birthday dinner which I was already late for because I stayed to wait for the delivery. They told me the manager would call and schedule Saturday morning. By 11am, no call so we called them. First they put us on hold, and then dropped our call. Called back and they put us on hold and then sent us to a voicemail that had no intro message. We called the salesperson and finally got to talk to a human and she said the phone issues happen all the time. They are now saying Tuesday delivery. I'm not confident. The furniture seems good and the sales people are good but its not cheap and I'd expect much better service than this. This place is a clown show. Next time I'll go back to the downtown furniture store they've always been great to work with and amazing customer service. I think it's Brenner's?
Okay so it keeps getting better. We were told they would take the old furniture with no additional charge, but when they got here the delivery guy said they weren't told to take it. He called his boss and was told because they are a third party mover it would be $100. Also we bought the couch with a battery because we don't have a place to plug it in without stringing cords right where we walk. There was no battery delivered with the sofa... so now we get to call again and either get hung up on or sent to voicemail... This business is a total cluster at every step of the process.

We went there few weeks ago . Very high priced. I was working on getting lower prices. They gave my there so called deal. I went to Salem found same sectional for lower price . Went back to sales person named Kim and she said she didn’t want to play games and couldn’t match price. She is very unprofessional and apparently doesn’t like the competition from Salem . So go to Salem instead. I saved thousands. Usmc

We have bought from Michael's a few times. This time we got a very nice leather couch. Within 6 months, the fake leather on the arm started peeling. I understand most leather has fake leather, and I am mostly okay with that. But I sent a picture to their email, and when their repair guy showed up, he took a picture and left. They came and took pictures each time I called.... 3 times they came and took pictures and never contacted me back. I used to buy my furniture here. But it doesn't seem like they stand behind what they sell. What a bummer for us. I hope they do better for others. Michael's, please feel free to look me up and call me. But please don't send another repairman by for a photo shoot.

I have been a loyal customer for thirty years, I'm so disappointed in them. We ordered over $7,000 in living room furniture and trusted our salesman which was a big mistake. He knew we had a stereo receiver and we talked with him about the remote working through the cabinet. Well the receiver doesn't fit, not even close. Instead of good customer service "they are doing us a favor will take it back for 20% restocking fee". Are you kidding me that's how you treat loyal customers, well they lost this one. If you have any problems don't expect help just a charge. Just can't tell you how nice it is to have a TV cabinet and none of the tv components fit inside.Measure ,check your facts.

After many purchases in the past from Michael's my husband and I purchased two leather recliners from them. Our experiences had always been good and in fact we have pieces of their furniture still in our home. The chairs arrived with one being damaged and so we refused the delivery of that chair. No problem as Michael's quickly had another chair delivered---but it was not the same color. Even the delivery people noticed the difference immediately. Michael's solution was for us to just keep it and deal with it or they would repair the damaged chair (the damage was right in the front of the chair where it would always be noticed). We were not in favor of those solutions and Michael's just ghosted us! After 2 weeks of trying to get a resolution we only were made whole by filing a claim with our credit card company. Michael's has lost a long time customer and they don't care---so buyer be ware.

I bought a leather recliner, and a warranty 4 1/2 years ago. My chair broke down in December 2021and they have not fixed it. I will never buy from them again.

Very professional salesperson. Allowed us time to look around without interference yet when we had settled on the furniture we were interested in quickly checked it’s availability to confirm it was in stock. Also delivery was only a few days out.
