My daughter goes to UFO. This hotel is near the school, but I would have to say it has the worst smell. I I thought about sleeping in my truck instead of staying in this hotel. And for the expensive price tag on it, I would just have to say absolutely ridiculous!

Super friendly staff, room was clean and didn't smell, bed was made nice and neat. In a good area, u literally have everything within walking distance.
Rooms: Room was clean, bed was nice and neat, pillows were AMAZING, bed was super comfortable
Nearby activities: There's a gambling spot in the next parking lot, access to Wendy's across the street as well as an Albertsons.
Safety: There's nobody outside all hours of the night
Walkability: Everything is within walking distance, super easy to navigate where your room is located

This place serves its purpose if you are just going to sleep & are gone most of the day. Rooms are outdated & dingy, our peep hole was stuffed with toilet paper, the door frame was not sealed, the walls are thin & the bathrooms could be cleaner.
Noteworthy details: Located right off the freeway.

We were moving our daughter into U of O and very many others as well. It was nearly impossible to find vacancies. We ended up at Motel 6 Springfield and it was the cheapest. And damn it was awful. Roaches ,horrible beds and people coming and going. I had enough, so we called around for a room. We got luck and immediately drove over to village Inn. Motel 6 refunded me our second day. I attempted to get a full refund....I only received 50% off our first night. $40...it was $80 a night.
I was very pleased with the property and Village Inn and the rooms were great! Clean and the beds were comfortable.
You know that expression, "You get what you pay for"? It is very true.
The staff was very pleasant as well
Village Inn gets my vote!

I do not understand how this is a 3-star hotel. While the front desk receptionist was very nice, that is where the good times end. We have stayed here twice and have had dirty, outdated rooms with uncomfortable beds and tiny pillows both times. The first time we stayed, there were earwigs in our room. This time, our room had cobwebs with dead bugs in them, the curtain was broken and wouldn't close all of the way, the chairs and bed felt like you were on a brick, the sink hadn't been properly cleaned and there was grime all around the sink drain, and there was a 2 foot long soda? stain down one of the walls. The carpet was gross and there is no way I would consider walking on it without shoes on. If this is supposed to be a 3-star hotel, then some care needs to be put into regular housekeeping and some of the furnishings need to be updated. I joked with my boyfriend that I would be bringing cleaning supplies with me when I found out we were staying here again, and I wish I would've actually brought some with.

EDIT: The fact that you are gaslighting a previous customer, regardless of the situation, says it all about what kind of business you run! To anyone thinking of staying here... DON'T!! It's apparent that this hotel has zero regard for their customers. If you still are considering it, read more of these reviews. You will see that this owner would rather try and blame and gaslight its customers then take ownership of the issues regarding their establishment.
This place is something else. They put my sister and her 4 kids in a room that didn't look like it had been cleaned in months! There was dirt and grime in the bathroom tub and sink, the bedding appeared used, the floor was disgusting and to top it off her door didn't lock due to someone kicking it in! They are extremely overpriced for the service they provide and the office staff needs some serious hospitality training. They charged her almost $1400 for 7 days when she checked in and refused to provide her extra towels or blankets. She was never moved to a room with a working lock on it either. Then to top it off, the front desk woman was completely rude and disrespectful when confronted on why they were trying to charge her extra for dirty towels left in her room! They then tried to charge her credit card for another $1550 after she checked out! I do not recommend this disgusting hotel to anyone... Your better off going to motel 6. They will at least provide you the basics; a clean room, a locking door, fresh towels when requested, and they are not in the practice of trying to double charge their customers because for any reason.
Rooms: Disgusting! Make sure your room locks and don't shower or walk around in the room or shower barefoot. Bring tons of disinfectant with you, your going to need it.
Safety: Broken door locks, mold and mildew in the bathroom and unknown staining throughout the room and bedding.

Zero Star Inn. Door was broken door jamb, split multiple places, had been crow-barred open or kicked in. Took photos. Unbelievable they booked this room. Only there 45 mins before knew it was unsafe. Left for a safe hotel. DO NOT BOOK. OLD, RUN DOWN, BROKEN DOOR, OLD SHEETS, OLD PILLOWS. POOR. Right next to freeway, noisy.

Initially called twice, no answer then disconnect. Hair snags on the blankets, lots of dust on lamp shades so tried not to touch them so the dust stayed put and there was dust/mold in all the bathroom corners. I clean better and I'm disabled. After this I tried not to look too close. Only two working plugs between the beds so hard to have things by the bed that I needed. Tried to leave the window open but it sounds like a drag race on Mohawk, and a compressor (?) or something kicked in nearby around 1230 for the rest of the night. There is no wifi and out of 85 supposed cable channels only about 16 worked and the content was terrible, so tried to watch my phone but not enough plugs between the bed for the phone and CPAP and another needed item. Glad I closed the window earlier due to the Mohawk drag races because when I stuck my head out to find out where the thump thump thump was coming from, and wow, there was an incredibly bad smell outside (paper mill?). Asked to change rooms to get one more working plug between the beds, front desk forgot to call me back so I assume that was a no.....Yes I really got a lot for my $113, I just wish it were good or pleasant. I will be complaining for a refund. Here's an interesting thing. Rated this place one star which did not register my rating....great system. I need to stay one more night somewhere but it will will not be Springfield.
