Safeway is a well-stocked grocery store with a big selection, including a produce department, a butcher block with meat and seafood, and a bakery offering cakes and cupcakes. The deli provides party trays and platters. Services include Grocery Delivery, DriveUp & Go™ pickup, and an Order Ahead option for bakery and deli items. While often busy, especially on weekends, some staff could be friendlier. Pickup experiences are mostly good, though popular sale items are sometimes out of stock and order issues like crushed products can occur. The pharmacy receives mixed reviews, described by some as wonderful with great and helpful staff, but by others as rude and slow. A common concern is high and worsening prices, with occasional issues found with fresh fruit quality.
I shop Safeway all the time. I clip their coupons and from time to time get some good buys. Its the closest store to me. I like Safeway!

I like Safeway because they have a good selection. They have very friendly staff and it's two blocks from my house. So easy to get in and out of there.

Well stocked, and self checkouts help get you in and out quickly. The bakery department will add to your middle with delicious cakes and carbohydrates.
