“We were happily surprised to see Ed Depape and after some pleasantries he introduced us to Izzy . Izzy was great showing us between the venza and the crown. My wife threw a million questions at him and changed between the two several times. Izzy answered all the questions and was able to help us decide on the car we bought. We traded in a very nice car and we were given a fair price. I also am very impressed with the free oil changes and services sold with the car. Finally, Melissa helped us through the last hoop of financing, again an experience that was conversational and non pressured. All in all, one of the best car buying experiences we have had. “The absolute best service! They will not try to sell you something you don't need, but are very honest about what you do need to have repaired. I have never felt as if I were being treated as if I didn't know anything or was talked down to because I am not a guy. In fact, it is a family business through and through, and at least one of the granddaughters is a grease monkey right and proper. She actually did my tune-up! They picked up my car up from my workplace, did a repair, and brought it back. Oh, and I had forgotten to get gas, and they even put gas in my car for me. Above and beyond service and genuinely nice folks who do good, honest work!”

“Driving back from Montana I got caught in the storm on I-84 and got redirected to The Dalles. The chains Les Schwab gave me were the wrong size the week prior and they wouldn’t help me out. I got ahold of the people at Point S and they had the chains I needed. I showed up and got my chains ASAP, they helped me get my chains tighter since my size tire is a little weird and were more than accommodating. Stuck in 2ft of snow was no fun. Thanks guys!”

The Nissan stealership wasn’t open and none of the other auto repair shops that claimed to be open picked up the phone. “Great experience here! My daughter had a semi emergency the other week with their air conditioner in their van. Toyota was supposed to fix it but failed, then said the compressor needed to be replaced to the tune of $1,500+.They needed it fixed for a trip so finding someone to do this work at a reasonable price was a real challenge! I called all over The Dalles and Corner Stone said bring it right down and they would work on it.After pulling it apart they determined the compressor our daughter had was not the right one. They worked hard to find the right one and got it the following day and installed it quickly.It works great and my daughter was very pleased with the experience. Finding a good and reasonable mechanic is always such a challenge, but we had a great experience here. Give them a try!”

“The entire team at this location is absolutely amazing. My dad and I were on our way to La Grande to drop me off at my sister's house, about 5+ hours away from where we live. 3 or so hours into our drive, our truck broke down. We only waiting an hour for a tow, after calling Les Schwab. We got it towed to this shop and they said they would do everything they could to get it done the same night so we could get back on the road since we were so far from home. Our truck ended up having more problems than expected, so they referred us to a couple hotels and said they'd have it fixed for us as early as possible. They even drove us to the hotel and made sure we were safe & solid. The next day, they called shortly after opening to keep us in the know about our truck. They worked their asses off and got soooo much fixed within just a few hours after opening. AND, they picked us BACK UP from the hotel without any question to take us back to their shop. Hands down, not only the most efficient & hard working people but the most genuine help we've ever received from anywhere we've been for our troubles. Especially at such a short notice. They saw us in a bad situation, hours away from home and knew we were dealing with so much on top of the truck breaking down & this crew went above and beyond . Thank you so much for making sure we were safe and taken care of. Yall are awesome!”

“Tonkin Subaru in The Dalles, OR...Chris is awesome. Every time I come in for scheduled maintenance auto repairs or oil changed he is on top of it EVERY TIME! Doesn't matter how busy it is here he goes way out of his way to help me out. Tommy in parts is solid too. Hit a deer only needed to replace the side mirror covers. Came in Tommy ordered it for me and was shipped right to my house so I didn't need to come in and be charged more than what the part cost. Today I accidentally missed my appointment at Subaru and Jennifer was able to get me in same day no hassle/Chris and Tommy were able to help me with my tires (totally separate issue) so I don't have to come back twice. The mechanics are very timely and professional. In general this service center has been an extremely positive experience every time. I trust bringing my car here for any maintenance, love having peace of mind the quality being done is highest of standards and truly enjoy the employees who work here. Big thanks to Chris Tommy and Jennifer for all the help!”
