Have accumulated many stories of fantastic customer service over the years. My accounts are complicated: two businesses, three kids, and I’m on my elderly parent’s account. Tellers and managers keep up with our needs and it’s much appreciated.
The current transition/merger has been a bit rough (more so for the employees) but everyone loves the Rivermark of old enough to stay patient, and the tellers are holding strong. I’ve deeply appreciated the emails from the CEO (especially during Covid, then this recent merger). Please don’t change too much, Rivermark!

Why is it when I call Rivermark now, I get foreigners that appear to be from an overseas call center. I can't talk to any branch employees. Oh he'll no, I'm not giving my banking information to someone in a foreign country.

Was charged 10$ a month for inactivity on a free checking account with no notice and then had the account closed with no way for a refund. Truly scummy corporate America at it again.Update: You had all my correct info when I called and I never received anything or an email. If a banks job is to hold my money for safe keeping on a free account why am I being charged a fee for the service? It's down right despicable!! It's my account and if I do not want to put money in it I should not be charged and penalized for how I choose to use it.

Says not for profit but charges customers unnecessary fees that would be criminal if done by a citizen but not by a corporation. America needs to change because this has been getting out of hand for far too long. Corporation's can do whatever they want and the average American has to just deal with the criminal behavior of Corporation's. They underpay their workers and pocket all the money they make while increasing the costs to do business.
