“It's like a little museum! It's a great place for cautious naturalists, as sustainability is part of their mission statement. Prices are honestly not bad, and the selection is always changing. Also a great place for rare and carnivorous plants. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Either location is a Portland must-see, in my opinion!”

She cuts hair so well, but especially does color well. Everything I get done grows out so well (I live an hour away so I don’t come often), the cuts and color! Sometimes I use a reference photo, but most of the time I don’t and she nails it.”

“I ordered two frames plus the stretch for two 30”x40” oil paintings on Canvas. The framing was done exceptionally well. They are honest and tell you the estimate in non-rushed personal face-to-face meeting. They are a small business with personalized service. The best of all is that their price was lower than a competitor nearby. I will go their again for sure!”
“Many years ago I used to provide HR consultation to them. I still think about this company and it brilliance. There were the most spectacular and stunning pictures from Nepal in their gorgeous space. The rugs they had in the studio could only be described in my dreams, absolute decadence!”
“I came here for a gallery show and was surprised by how small the space was! There were lots of people in the front part purchasing art work, which was so great to see! It did make walking through the gallery a little challenging, but it was great to have it poppin! I wonder if there's more room outside (that couldn't be utilized this time due to rain) or something like that?”

“This is such a cute and quaint gallery that features all local artists. Artwork rotates monthly and they even teach classes for kids and adults! All experience levels are welcome and you sign up for classes on their website.”
“The Guardino Gallery is one of the original galleries where Alberta got the Alberta Arts District from. This shop helped build Alberta Street to what it is today, and we thank you. This gallery incorporates multiple store fronts, has lots and lots of fantastic local art, which rotates about every month, so you keep going back to find that piece your house is missing. Keep a look out for one of their many openings where they showcase individual artists or show up for Last Thursday and see a collection by many, which is usually the case.”

If you want to learn about who all the important artists are in Oregon and Washington and also want to see a (non gallery like) huge collection of local art in all price ranges, this is the place to go!”
“Ok, I really liked this, it was on my list for some time, so while in town, we gave it a shot. I will say the entrance fee of 10 dollars seems a little steep after having done it. But it isn't unreasonable. You do get lots of photo ops and free popcorn, so I can't complain too much. Nice little gift shop, got a mystery bag and it has a picture for a slide machine from 1951, a weird picture of someone's baby from like the 1800's, some stickers, and a McDonald's minion. Definitely peculiar! I'd say that was worth it for five dollars”

“They did a very nice job remounting and replacing the broken glass on a framed photo, including offering to replace the glass for free with a remnant piece. It looks much better now! Note that the shop is closed from 11:45-1:00 for lunch every day. Please update your hours on the website.”
