They are SO KIND AND HELPFUL here!! The store manager came out and installed my battery for free and offered some helpful advice for future auto care. My kids were with me and everyone was so patient and kind. I highly recommend this place!!

They are pretty good, but their tests won't beat out a mechanic or DEQ for EVAP and emissions problems.
I found out that Jiffy Lube is good at checking your starting and charging system. I had opposite results, but Jiffy Lube came through on this one...

Terrible service! Store very understaffed, I needed my battery checked and had to wait a LONG time before they managed to do it. They reported the battery was fine, it just needed charging. I waited a while then they suggested I take the vehicle down to their larger store on Dartmouth off Highway 99 as they would be closed before the battrery was charged.
I did so, and the larger store removed the battery and put it on charge. I waited, and waited and waited and... eventually they came out to tell me the battery was very hot, had not charged, and it needed to be replaced. They did not have the correct battery in stock, leaving me with a very heavy batter that I was expected to carry outside and do what with? The car was stranded, and it was 10pm! I asked them why two neighboring branches could give me contradictory advice? They just shrugged their shoulders and said they were sorry... not helpful to a disabled senior stranded at 10.10pm miles from home!
I called AAA who took details of the car and sent someone to replace the battery. He eventually showed up and despite having received year, date, model of the car and the spec of the existing battery he did not have one either!
Is this what one should expect of American customer service, where no one seems to apply forethought before making a bad situation worse?
AAA of course wasn't AutoZone's fault but between them they all seems to make an everyday task complicated...
The AAA guy managed to jump the 'totally dead cannot be charged of jumped' battery and I got home at 11pm... tomorrow the whole farce will begin again (if I can get the car off my driveway....)

Not open at 7:30 like they say. Tried calling and nobody answered the phone. Maybe they should change the store hours if they’re ioen later than what’s posted.

Candice was absolutely wonderful during a more complicated transaction my mom and I had at AutoZone. Customer service was top-notch, and we left feeling genuinely cared for and supported. Thank you, Candice, for your outstanding help—you made a stressful situation so much easier!

Ashley in Tigard is absolutely the best. I am a 75 year old woman, who has not received any education on cars. Ashley was incredibly helpful, and even checked with a co-worker at one point, to make sure I got the best answers.

I hope manager Erik’s day gets better. I came in looking for a can of air spray to get those hard to reach crevices inside the car and I was stunned by the palpable annoyance that he had shown toward me for patronizing his store. Instead of just politely saying “Unfortunately we don’t carry that particular product but let’s see what the next best thing is to get the job done,” I was met with a sarcastic “it depends on what you’re trying to clean.” I specified that during my initial query. Due to his attitude, I politely dismissed him very quickly by saying “thank you” as a way of saying I didn’t appreciate his attitude and I’m pretty sure he picked up on it as that’s when he actually was trying to be helpful and at that point I just wasn’t having it and kept interrupting him by continuing to thank him. I’m not encouraging anyone not to shop at this location but I am suggesting another associate to help you when you do shop there.
