“Great group of women whom support those and advocate for women going through cancer. I really wanted to be apart, but unfortunately they are not very inclusive to working parents or people whom work weekends.
Was really disappointed because my Grandparents gave a lot of time in previous years, and I was hoping to connect with others in my situation. Most activities were not open to children nor on days other than Sundays generally. It felt too much like a clique and I clearly didn't fit it, even with Cancer.”

“My heartfelt thanks to community action for the great job that they are doing to help and support families and individuals who are in housing and rental assistance needs. Life is up and down, challenging happens in life regardless of how strong you are. Community actions has rescued me and my newborn baby from eviction and rental history problems. Thank you so much for being there to help and support when people need you the most. Many blessings to you and everyone who donated to support people. I was falling down, you hold my arms and stand me up, hopefully I won't fall down again, instead, I will be a good donor to support others. I give you a 5 stars because that is a maximum of stars, otherwise I could give you a trillions of stars. You are in my prayers. Be blessed.”

The only thing I'd recommend is to continue looking for creative funding sources to connect with social/recreational therapy opportunities, such as what's offered through mill-levvy funding for I/DD folx.”

“As a grandma, going to pick up breast milk for a Premi who was getting ready to be brought home from the hospital. It was the best experience I could have ever had. The place was easy to find, and the staff was very courteous and helpful. Even to the point of calling the hospital to verify the prescription that was sent over to them because they had not received it yet. They sat and talked with me and got to know me and we're very helpful in every way. I highly recommend this place to any new mother who is in need of breast milk for their little bundle of joy.”
