“Another year, another review. Once again my accident policy from American Fidelity has been a blessing to us. My husband and I were hit by a drunk driver a few months ago and I sustained some injuries. While the driver thankfully had insurance covering medical expenses, we’ve needed some help due to limitations from injury. Shortly after my husband slipped on a wet floor and had to have some X-rays done. As with every single claim we’ve ever filed (and there have been many… turns out we are quite accident prone!) our claims were handled quickly and efficiently. The extra cash has been very helpful as we will not get a settlement from insurance yet with medical treatments ongoing. Bonus - not for the first time, the claims reviewer actually found a benefit we weren’t expecting when we submitted our medical records. An extra unexpected $50 was a nice surprise indeed.I just renewed my policies (after the positive early experiences with the accident policy I signed up for several other supplementary insurances) and as always had a wonderful experience. Anna and Nicole are both awesome reps. Never any high pressure pitches, but always good reminders to claim wellness benefits. I was glad for the reminder to check my last reported salary on my disability policy to be sure I’d be adequately covered for income replacement if needed. Anna even investigated if my latest accident might qualify for a second small benefit under another policy.
