Great alternative to heading to Newport to get groceries, especially if youre only short an item or two.Deli has solid breakfast(biscuits and gravy), great jojos and fried chicken, as well as an assortment of other hot items depending on the day, great when you don't feel like cooking that meal!

I love JC Thriftway Toledo! The staff is friendly and helpful. For a small town grocery store, they have very good selection. They might be a little bit more expensive than Walmart on certain things, but the shopping experience is so, so much better. I even love the music they play in the store.

I got a new cashier (her 2nd day on the job) and she did awesome! Nice selection of meat, produce and deli for such a small store.
We are a locally owned supermarket which offers superior customer service and a full service deli and bakery department...we have THE best fried chicken around and we make cakes in our bakery for any occasion. We offer a huge variety of farm fresh produce, and in our meat department we have a full time meat cutter that knows how to cut a large variety of steaks, roasts, ect. Our fresh meat is cut and packaged right here. And, we grind our hamburger fresh every day. We also have a Service Center where you can drop off prepaid packages or ship packages UPS, buy a Money Order, send or receive a Fax and get balloons for many occasions. We have weekly competitive ads and price reductions throughout the entire store to help save you money.
