“I went to this location today on my day off. I am usually too busy to pause and reflect.
But I had such a great experience at this store and with Suzanne that and I wanted to just pause and express my appreciation.
Having recently lost a bit of weight, I finally resigned to my dire need for new scrubs. I haven’t shopped for clothes in quite a few months and I haven’t bought scrubs in a shop scrub in years. (Apparently 4 years, according to my last address in their records) I usually buy the old reliable brands and styles online and it’s whatever.
Suzanne greeted me and took care of me the way I’ve been taken care of in the most bougie clothing stores. I didn’t even look on the racks myself. She just listened to what I liked and didn’t like and went to work.
I was just amazed that she automatically knew exactly how a certain brand’s fabric would hang on my frame. She knew to grab a petite in a certain style even though my measurements are borderline. She’s that good.
Also, I stopped to write this review because I only recently found myself 30 lbs lighter, and I have no idea what size I am, especially in scrubs. She just knew what size would fit on sight when I myself had no clue. I left with scrubs that were perfect for me and for my current role. And I am a pretty particular nurse, fwiw.
Suzanne even found joggers that looked cute AND were perfect for the hot weather. I had given up on the idea of ever wearing a flattering pair of joggers in scrubs. I was a medium in sizes I was just buying in L and XL out of habit.
If you are in need of anything scrubs related, just stop in this location and see Suzanne. She is going to hook you up.”

“5 star experience for my daughter’s FIRST SKATEBOARD! Devon was fantastic. 10/10 dude. It was late & he stayed past closing to help us. A lot of great information and got to commiserate over the good ol’ days of the 90’s. Educated us on the board & fully assembled it for us (very knowledgeable, very patient, very friendly and not in a weird way). Even gave my kid a free lesson at the end! Place has 5 stars for a reason. We’re just in town visiting but whether you’re new to Portland or a skate regular this is your one stop shop! Thanks so much Devon! Keep on keepin on man ?”

“Greetings upon walking in. Made to feel comfortable and welcomed. Staff seemed very knowledgeable. They do treadmill gait test and test you in different shoes for fit and feel. Now for the ultimate test - walking without pain.”

“We live down south, but somehow my husband managed to come across this store when searching for a pair of very hard to find Ugg Slippers for our teenage daughter. We placed an order for the last available pair, which just happened to be in her size (we hope). We were going to pay extra for 3-day shipping, but then couldn’t find the option when checking out. So we went ahead and placed the order hoping for the best that they would arrive in time for Christmas. The next day Andrew called to say that they would definitely arrive after Christmas, if that is what he had ordered them for. Then offered 3-day shipping if we would like for them to arrive in time for Christmas. We happily paid the extra cost to expedite to make sure they got to us in time and they were even delivered a day early! From what I gather, this store is more for seat covers. But I highly recommend this store! Great service!”

“I traded some older vintage Nike SB Dunks for 2 pretty sought after pairs. I'm across the country in CT and had concerns, like anyone would, about shipping my items to the store first. “Okay, I've finally figured out that the reason I can't find Merrell outlets all over Portland is because there are Columbia outlets everywhere, instead. The deals I got here made me just as happy as the deals I'm used to getting at my favorite Merrell outlet in Folsom. I got two pairs of waterproof nonslip boots for work-- one Columbia and one Sorel-- both for $55. I had almost purchased a similar pair of Columbia boots at DSW for $70 a few days ago, so I ended up being so glad I held out for a better deal. They had so many good deals at this outlet, it was literally overwhelming. They had an entire floor of clearance Columbia and Mountain Hardware jackets. I also noticed a huge selection of PFG gear. I'm not into fishing, but I like their lightweight long sleeve sunblocking shirts.
Customer service was friendly, one of the employees was also a seasonal national park worker, so we ended up talking about that a little bit. Overall a great experience and I would definitely shop here again.”

“Nice store with friendly employees. I try to shop local instead of buying Birkenstocks from a chain retailer or online and Signature Shoes has been my go-to recently. They have a nice selection of socks, including compression socks”

“Edit: I’m very impressed with the fact that the store owner contacted me regarding my first review. He was very concerned and offered me a small discount on a pair of shoes. Im very impressed with how humble he is. He didn’t make excuses and took responsibility and that show’s character. So I’m updating my review to reflect the dedication this owner has towards maintaining a good name. I still really want to try out more Topo shoes so I will be trying them again at a different location that is bigger and is able to carry a larger stock. I really like the quality of shoes they offer. As we get older we have to take care of our feet and the foot traffic will help with that.As others said the selection is Tiny compared to their other location so my suggestion is to call ahead of time.I did go ahead and erase my other review because in hindsight it was hasty. If I had an issue I should have contacted a higher up person and given them the chance to offer a resolution before running to the internet.”

“This is a cute clothing and gift store that recently opened in Cedar Hills Shopping Center, right next to Bamboo Sushi. Unlike the larger chains, this is definitely a boutique with items carefully curated to fit a specific vibe. Lots of neutral layering pieces - t-shirts, tank tops, sweaters, jackets - plus jeans, pants and dresses in all different price ranges. Add a pop of color from purses, scarves and other accessories to change up your outfit and add personality. In addition to the clothing, they have a variety of home decor and accessories for you or gifts for friends. Lovely scented candles and lotions, and coffee mugs, coasters and dish towels with funny sayings.If you are in this area, stop in! It's a nice change and a more intimate experience compared to the big box stores (TJMAXX, Ross) in this shopping center.”

Selené was wonderfully helpful and even remembered exactly which bra we were talking about when we came back a couple hours later (on a busy Labor day) to buy it. “I was beyond happy with my recent visit to the Red Wing store. Danner is kinda the darling of the Portland boot world. And I would generally agree, until the past decade or so. I had a bad experience with the durability of two of their American made boots and their prices just continue climb. This with them becoming more and more fashion focused led me to consider another option.

Then I saw that Red Wing had re-released their heritage logger boot (love the look of the boot) and it was still priced almost 100 dollars below my usual Danners. I decided to go to a store to get fitted because it was a new brand to me and still a very pricey boot.

I figured that this was a chain store owned by Red Wing but it's actually a family owned store with two brothers working the day I stopped in. I like the family aspect. I was scanned with their Volumental machine and got my precise measurements. They had the boot and size I needed on site and got to it immediately. No screwing around with returns and weird sizing online. The whole thing was made doable and even enjoyable by the salesperson on staff, he killed it.

Nice work Red Wing Beaverton. I wasn't expecting such a pleasant and efficient experience.

Maybe this Danner guy is now a Red Wing guy, but that's up to my new boots to decide for me.”

“I had such a a great experience here. I came in on a Saturday afternoon and Esther was a fairy godmother for dance shoes. She was very helpful with finding the right size and fit for me. I'm just starting out with dancing and she helped me find a few options. Would highly recommend for any dance shoes , especially if you want a friendly guide to finding a great pair of shoes!”

“I'm posting this not as somebody who has visited the store but as somebody who has received customer service over the phone.

I was looking for a pair of pants and I've been having problems finding pants in my size so I called this store. I made this call between 1:40 to 1:45 PST today Wednesday.

Because of the customer service that I received on the phone I will be visiting the store. The agent or representative that I spoke to from the store was extremely positive, upbeat and helpful.

I explained to her that I've been losing weight and that I don't normally buy clothes at this size because I'm not going to be this size forever. I did this because I'm used to having or hearing judgment in people's voices.

I did not get any hint of judgment from this representative. Like I said she was super positive and helpful.

This is exactly the type of people I love dealing with. So whoever her boss is should really promote her next time promotions come up.

“Stopped in for some help with replacing my 20 year old Danner boots (after visiting the factory store where the staff couldn’t be bothered with customer service).Paul and Todd at the Union Way store were fantastic. They answered all my questions, took genuine interest in making sure I got a proper fit, and went out of their way to get my new boots to me when my size wasn’t in stock (they even offered me some delicious snacks?).Danner is lucky to have guys like this representing the brand. The boots are good of course, but salespeople who take customer satisfaction personally are rare indeed.”
