“This rental had a modern yet cozy vibe. I loved the private pathway to the beach and the views were amazing. The couch was comfortable and the tv had Netflix and prime. The kitchen and bathrooms came fully stocked. Sometimes the tv just stopped streaming due to the connectivity to the internet. Within short driving distance to the Sand Dunes. Would rent again!”

“Dog friendly. Great area for walking. Nice view of the bay. Clean and quiet room. Friendly manager. Accommodated us with a shower chair for my husband's difficulty standing. Short drive to stores and restaurants.”

“Sorry for lack of photos - I forget to take pics of the room.
This was our third stay at the Fireside, we stayed for 5 nights.
The rooms are always clean, the motel is close to the ocean and the 504 Trail.
Our room was (I think) the Petrel. It has a nice Jacuzzi tub and a "fireplace".
The tub is large enough for two, and like the rest of the room, quite clean.
The "fireplace" is in quotes because it is an electric unit with simulated flames. It does put out heat.

The room includes a round table and two comfy armchairs, and a king bed.

The WiFi at Fireside is also quite good. The tested download and upload rates were about 280MBS.

Of note: this is the only room we have ever stayed in where the refrigerator light worked. :)

There is a coffee maker. If you, like us, prefer to use a K cup machine, you will need to bring your own. We use reusable 'pods' bring ground coffee with us. Tip: use Espresso grind in the pods if you like robust dark roast. Drip grind may be recommended at a coffee house, but don't do it - Espresso grind is the way to go.

Walkability: This room is next to the 504 trail, and there is close access to rocks on the beachside. Beaches are within walking distance on the trail.”
