“Mia Crizo, stop with racism! You are the people keeping it alive. I am a 46 year old white male that moved to winston 5 years ago. Luna, my dog and I used to walk into grocery outlet all the time with a backpack. No issue. But, all of a sudden no backpacks were allowed. Shortly after no dogs unless service dogs. Obviously, they had some incidences. What is the big deal? I now leash my dog on the poll between the store and dollar tree, and drop my backpack on an empty checkout station. Of course, removing my wallet and any other valuables. However, I used to be worried about someone taking my backpack with dog supplies (I have since recognized that winston is for the most part a place where you don'thave to lock everything.)The ladies at the checkout had no problem storing behind the counter. Out of sight and mind. Why assume that a grocery store is racist because they told you that you needed to drop your backpack off before shopping and then inforced the rule the second time you broke it? Just saying...”
“Even though its Christmas season and they're busy, I have noticed that the pricing throughout the store is much better. They are friendly and helpful. There is always someone in the isles asking if I am finding everything ok. If a lot of people seem to be checking out at the same time, they don't hesitate to call for back up, that way the lines don't get too long.”
“My second time dashing for orders in Dollar general in Winston. I was having a really hard time finding the 43 items on the list. Zander was very instrumental in helping me! If it wasn't for him, I would of had a complete meltdown!! Thank you Zander!!”
“Great small town feel and staff help and friendly. Prices on par with another big retailers that allows me to avoid the crowds, craziness, and walking miles in the big box store”
