About Goodwill Industries of the Columbia Willamette
Goodwill Industries of the Columbia Willamette is a non-profit organization that operates retail stores, outlet locations, two online shopping sites, and attended donation centers. The organization's mission is to provide vocational opportunities to people with disabilities as well as others with barriers to employment. Their donations and purchases fund their free job services programs, and they pride themselves on being good environmental stewards with their award-winning recycling and salvage operations. The stores are generally well-supplied and orderly, but the pricing of used items has been a point of contention for some customers. While the staff is often described as friendly and helpful, there are concerns that the prices are too high, making it difficult for those who rely on Goodwill's affordable options. Some customers have also expressed frustration with the permanent marker used to label clothing, as it can limit their options for wearing certain items. Overall, Goodwill Industries of the Columbia Willamette receives mixed reviews, with praise for its mission and operations, but criticism for its pricing structure, which some feel may be pricing out the very people the organization aims to serve. The organization is encouraged to revisit its pricing policies to ensure it remains accessible to all members of the community.
This Goodwill is huge and packed with good finds, including tons of retail salvage. Cheers for keeping good stuff out of landfills!

Donation in error made its way here and the manager and employees were so helpful in tracking it down and getting it back to me. Clean, organized store, helpful and honest staff!
