About Devil's Churn Viewpoint
Devil's Churn Viewpoint offers a unique coastal experience with well-maintained paths leading to a spectacular rocky inlet. Visitors can enjoy the powerful waves crashing in a churning motion, reminiscent of a washing machine. The viewpoint provides nice views, especially during high tide and inclement weather, although the best sights may require a short hike down to the ocean. The area is dog-friendly and has a small picnic spot, along with clean restrooms available for guests. While there is a $5 day use fee, it is not required for quick stops to admire the scenery. Overall, it is a neat place for a brief visit to appreciate the ebb and flow of the ocean currents.

Not a lot of parking. The ocean is fun to watch in the cove but stay on the trail and behind the rails for your safety. Water levels change quickly and unpredictablely.

I have to say that going down the 101, and looking out at the ocean. This is my favorite place to stop. And look at the view, there's just something about it that speaks to me. And I am able to get pictures there and enjoy the place so much

This place was great! Clean, and just amazing! I wish I had gotten there a little bit earlier in the day, so I could have gone down, and explored the tide pools, to see what wonderful creatures I could find, but we got there as tide was coming in fast. I can't wait to see the Devils Punch Bowl next!!
