This was a wonderful treat to stop here. This trail was paved and clean. It's a shirt hike for anyone, and the grade wasn't an issue. This is one that I highly recommend everyone to visit on their travels. Parking is not much but good enough when it's not busy season.Playground: No playgroundsRestrooms: Yes, they have restrooms

Great stop on the coast. Nice paved trails along the shore clean bathrooms. There's even wifi so you can share your photos. Devil's churn is one of many geological formations along the Oregon coast you don't want to miss. high tide is the best time to see the waves inter the churn and you can view it from the upper parking lot or follow the path and see where the sea enters the churn . We have seen whales from the trail and at low tide there is a beach off the trail about a mile from the parking lot .

The area was well kept and clean and I had not been there in probably 50 years. When I was a kid we were able to get much closer which apparently is now considered to dangerous but we didn't manage to lose anyone.?

A lesser-visited place, but among my favorites anywhere! Caution should be exercised at all times and young children not allowed near the chasm... but mature viewers will be impressed by the thundering of mother nature.

Beautiful spot but as one that used to live on that Oregon coast, If you bring your children or dogs here, be careful. You can get swept into the churn. People walk close to the edge and it makes my stomach flip. I personally lost a dog into a similar spot and wewere able to recover him but it was traumatizing for me and my family. So be careful!!! Sharp turn into the parking lot and dangerous pulling back out. Watch out for motorcycles and bicyclists.Dog-friendliness: I would keep them on a leash for their safety.

Another beautiful spot on the Oregon coast. Stop here and hike the approximately 1 mile Trail. You will see at your own eyes something that you will remember for a long time. Very good point.

This is really an awesome place, but don't be one of the dumb people who try to jump over it and die every year. And please keep your dogs off the volcanic rock unless you protect their paws.
