“Great staff very friendly and helpful. Lots of comblock gear and plenty of well priced stuff. Smaller but we'll worth spending hard earned money at. Highly recommend.”

“I want to say that from the moment I walked into the office and met Tom, I couldn’t have asked for a more helpful person to help set up my actual move! I was so frantic helping a dear elderly friend move from her home to an apt and I didn’t know what to do. Tom assured me his team could do it and not only did he call the night before to confirm, his team arrived right on time and were very kind. They were careful and also quick. We were moved from one place to the other under 3 hours and there were some pretty big pieces of furniture to boot! Nick, Jamie, Carey and Isaac were the 4 actual movers and they did a great job! Thank you Tom, guys and Gearhart Moving and Storage for making a very stressful time much easier! I would highly recommend them for your move!”

“I was communicating with Gavin and his team on a project I had in State College, PA. He was very communicticative and more than willing to help. I will continue to use their services in the future and would recommend them to others in search of a great company.”

“I recently had the difficult task of moving my mother to an assisted living facility. I no longer live in the Altoona area, so I asked FaceBook friends for mover recommendations. Every single person who had a recommendation recommended Walks, and now I know why! They were professional, respectful, and excellent facilitators. On the day of the move, they called me to see if it would be alright if they were to arrive EARLIER (!) than the scheduled arrival time. We were packed up, moved, and unpacked, with furniture arranged to my specifications, well before I had imagined the packing up phase would even be completed. AND (I started a new paragraph to get your attention): they charged me LESS than what they originally quoted. I currently live in Philadelphia, so I KNOW good (and bad) customer service from experience. If you are in Philadelphia, you want your move handled by Mambo Movers. But if you are in the Altoona area, call Walks Moving and Storage...you will be glad you did!”

“Exceptional, professional, careful - just a few words to describe Bill, Jeff, Caden & Josh. We were all amazed at their speed. They ran like a well-oiled machine. They actually moved and set up 61 years' worth of my parents' belongings in less than three hours. Crazy fast and crazy thorough. I highly recommend Walk's Moving.”
