“Good place off I-99 in Altoona. I always stop here for fuel when driving up into North Country. A bit of a pain getting in and out. Why don’t people know what side there gas door is on. It tells you in the car if you can’t remember look at your gas gauge for the little arrow pointing to which side it’s on.”

“I have been using this pharmacy for at least twenty years since developing a medical condition in middle school. The staff have always been very helpful and tried to guide me through the complexities of insurance roadblocks if my doctor made changes, my job changed, etc. over the years. They have been a wonderful pharmacy to work with and I wouldn't go anywhere else!”

“This was my 4th call to a Rite aid, I started with Mt Union didn't have the meds to fill my RX they received from my Dr. Waiting time was 3 wks. They said to call the other stores to find my med. ( They use to do it for you) Called this location (E Pleasant Vly, Altoona, and spoke to the nicest lady, she checked their system, (she was quick) said they had it and she would call the Mt Union store to get the Rx. Then she called back to say they are filling my Rx. If they were closer, I would always go to that Rite Aid. The one in Mt. Un is not the same anymore, no cust svc.”
“The staff is very knowledgeable and most of them are long time employees of the store. They will stop what they are doing and assist you with any questions you have. I take a photo on my phone and show it to any one of the employees and they know exactly where the product is on the shelf. The pharmacists will take the time to answer any questions you have and they will take you to the shelf to point out products that may help you. The automatic refill service is greatly appreciated and if you need to renew a prescription they will contact the doctor directly and text you when the prescription is ready to be picked up. When you purchase a prescription at the pharmacy they always ask you if your vaccinations are up to date. Something very important for seniors. The last time I was in I actually saved myself a trip to the grocery store when I was able to purchase milk and coffee in the foods section. I will definitely continue using this pharmacy.”
“My doctor called me in medication and I went to pick up another medication and asked to pick up both . Everyone was nice and she explained I couldn’t pick up the others because it was to soon . It’s not there fault and I’ll just pick it up when she told me I could .. these people have a stressful job because of the people trying to scam them for extra medication . Be kind and you’ll receive kindness back . Overall I like this place and will continue to get my medication there”
