“Tired of seeing the same-old designs in cookie cutter women's clothing stores? Me, too! Stop at the Shirley Shoppe, which offers a carefully curated collection of clothing, jewelry and accessories as well as a personalized shopping experience led by the owner, Arlene. Last year, I needed something dressy for a global sales meeting gala event. With Arlene's help, I found a gorgeous and uniquely-styled dress by Joseph Ribkoff, a Canadian designer whose collections I had previously only seen in a boutique in the Rideau Centre in Ottawa. This year's favorite find is another Joseph Ribkoff design: a short black skirt embellished with silver rivets for a really fun and funky effect, dressed up or down. My size was out of stock through the store, so Arlene graciously special ordered it for me. On another trip to Shirley's, I eyed a faux leather jacket, but wasn't sure of the cut; Arlene explained why the cut was wrong for me and suggested a similar jacket that was more becoming. Talk about top-quality service!I really like the designers Arlene brings in, especially Brighton and Z Supply, but the customer service is what really impresses me and keeps me coming back for more.”

“I went to this location today searching for a new pair of jeans. Maria, the Assistant Manager was the helpful to me. I told her exactly what I was looking for and she showed me 3 different styles. She was so patient with me as I had hip replacement surgery and walking around and going in fitting room was challenging. She told me to use the handicap dressing room which was great because it had a bench for me to sit down. I had to call back tonight as I thought I wanted talk in the jeans and they were way too long. She answered the phone, found the jeans and is holding them for me. Old Navy is fortunate to have Maria on their team.”

“This was the ultimate shopping experience. When my girlfriend and I walked in the store, the first time, we were greeted by Jess. We decided to go somewhere else briefly and came back, and Jess remembered us immediately. She saw us shopping around for bras and I think overheard conversation about me having no idea how to size myself for a bra. Jess came over and offered to help me find the correct size (even though I'm a Cincinnatian), measured me, put me in a dressing room and brought multiple options for me to try on. Sometimes, being a woman who doesn't fall under the "societal beauty standards" body wise, it can be very intimidating to ask for help when trying to size for anything. She was so incredible, friendly, and non-judge mental. In fact I don't think I felt poorly one time when speaking with her. She mentioned that this store is not the location she actually works at and she was just filling in. I somehow need this message to get to her boss because she absolutely needs a raise- she made my entire day and I would hug her if I could or move her to Cincinnati myself so I never have another negative shopping experience. Go Bengals!!”

“I got an amazing deal on everything I went in to buy! My son asked for Versace "the dreamer" cologne and got it for about 1/3 of the price I would've anywhere else. I was surprised how well the store was stocked with that kind of item with it being so close to the holiday. I was also able to get a really nice chain for a great price. Typically, I don't have luck finding things I am looking for with stores like t.j. maxx, but I got everything I went in looking to buy, and I was so happy with the selection and price. They were busy, but they had a lot of cashiers working, and the line moved incredibly fast. I was really impressed this time around!”

“Great boutique! Shopped here for the first time today and was very pleased. First off the staff is very friendly and helpful giving honest opinions about sizing and matching. There is a great selection of items. Everything from jeans and tees to formal dresses and coats. They also have accessories and some home items. Items are priced appropriately for each brand. While some items are higher end and a bit pricey you Can also find really great brands of great quality that are more affordable. They have a 14 day store credit only return policy. My only Complaints were that the heat was so high in the store i felt sick. Especially in the dressing room. Also the mirrors are verrrry tilted so I hope the items I purchased still look good at home.”

“Sitting in Cranberry, PA having completed another shopping trip with my love at WHBM. Have gone to shops across the country and the real +++ comes when the sales staff is top notch. Today Tanya (greetings, C-Suite take notice) assisted us on the purchase of three outfits, two pairs of shoes, and two necklaces for an upcoming key family occasion weekend. My partner knows the online scene but insists on seeing all together before buying. Selection was great (so Tanya had much to bring around that did not make the cut - and that after walking the floor and saying nay or yea to the whole collection). An added bonus was a phenomenol final sale winter jacket for a steal. Previous visits to WHBM we sometimes find the perfect item in a wrong size but with our online registration (accruing future rewards) we have the correct size shipped out along with our takeaways. Cheers to Tanya that today NOTHING needed to be completed with online fulfillment so we are driving away completely satisfied and smiling looking forward to shining at the rapidly upcoming weekend shindig. GO, you won't be disappointed!! Budget a few hours to do it right, this is a process best done slowly and deliberately with many stops along the way at the mirror for a "Great!". WHBM you have the recipe and the staffing - we will return.”
