“I love the reasonable day pass rate for this fully equipped gym. I can stay on track with whatever training I'm doing when I'm in town to visit family. Equipment is in good condition and they have everything you need - free weights, cardio, CrossFit-type area, basketball, aerobics room, weight machines.”
“Great place to learn submission grappling, striking, and workout. The head grappling instructor, Bob, teaches effective techniques and prioritizes student safety and a positive culture. He’s an old school BJJ black belt and former D-1 wrestler. The school has a nice weight room, huge mat room, a boxing ring, and lots of bags to hit. I’m a BJJ brown belt with 9 years of experience training in Southern California. I highly recommend this school.”
“Not a bad joint, a little outdated in some areas, but they do have some newer equipment in some areas, a good deal of room to work with for the most part, and there's plenty of weight and so forth to throw around to get the job done!”
“I’ve dropped into CrossFit Hershey a handful of times over the years, usually around the Christmas season. What started as a one-time visit through a veteran non-profit has turned into a place I make a point to stop at whenever I’m back in the area—and that says a lot.
The facility itself is spacious, well laid out, and easy to train in without feeling cramped or rushed. But what really keeps me coming back is the people. The members are genuinely kind, engaging, and welcoming in a way that doesn’t feel forced. You can jump into a class or an open gym session and immediately feel like you belong, even if you’re just passing through.
There’s a real sense of community here—the kind that’s built over time through shared effort, consistency, and mutual respect. It’s not flashy or performative; it’s just good people showing up, working hard, and supporting one another. CrossFit Hershey is the kind of gym that reminds you why community matters and why CrossFit, at its best, is about more than just the workout.”
