“Despite passing by countless times, discovering this hidden gem was a revelation. The live meat cutting, impeccable customer service, and irresistibly soft bread elevate this hoagie experience to a whole new level. I'm upset it took me so long to find, but now I'm hooked on the best hoagies in town.”

“Leonard's Kielbasi is the best smoked kielbasa in North America. Leonard was my uncle, so I am biased. But after years of serving this at holidays and giving it away for gifts, it has proven true. Once you taste Leonard's, nothing else is quite as good. It is worth the trip and you should get extra for gifts. The hours are posted. Expect long lines around Easter and Christmas. Oh and they do take credit cards now.”

“The chili dogs are as good as they say they are. The women working behind the deli could be a little more hospitable to strangers. I just wanted some chili dogs. I wasn't there to do anything wrong.”

“I avoid a carnivore diet with a strong proclivity towards plant-based, but Schiff's has the world's best kielbasa IMHO. Originally from Scranton but now residing in our Gettysburg address ( I love saying that!), I've been ingesting kielbasa from Schiff's for as long as I remember. I was in the environs for family business and decided to pick up some "basa" and a few other items, thus dropped in. Be advised that the parking lot is straight out of Hades, is locked in and of insufficient size, and devilish to maneuver within and a challenge to pull out. You'll likely bump into other people or be bumped into, and navigating your shopping cart night not be easy if a Babci brigade had descended on the store prior to your arrival. The check out isles are a free for all, but cashiers are quite friendly for the most part, and hard-working and somewhat frazzled employees will offer assistance if asked. The prices are fair, the produce fresh, and the selection large. 4 stars doesn't mean I had a major problem with Schiffs, but just the parking lot knocked it down a star. My preference is for the fresh kielbasa, btw, and get some white horseradish and poppy seed roll while you're there, yum!”

“Quinn's Market in Peckville: A Community Staple with Opportunities for EnhancementGeneral Overview:Quinn's Market stands as a cornerstone of the Peckville community, boasting a commendable 4.3-star rating across 667 reviews. It presents a comprehensive shopping experience with noted strengths in its deli, produce, and cleanliness. The feedback from patrons such as Melissa Mocco and Jane Malloy highlights the convenience and friendliness that Quinn's Market is known for, reinforcing its role as a trusted local grocer.Store Cleanliness and Layout:A hallmark feature of Quinn's Market is its spotless environment. Shoppers, including Jane Malloy, have consistently praised the store's cleanliness—a testament to the staff's dedication and the management's oversight. A clean store not only enhances the shopping experience but also ensures that the food, especially fresh produce, is presented in a hygienic setting.Customer Service:The staff's friendliness is a recurrent theme in customer reviews. There is an apparent culture of helpfulness and community service, which resonates with shoppers who require assistance during their visit. The owner's responses to reviews demonstrate an engagement with customers and a willingness to provide a personal touch to the shopping experience.Pricing and Sales:Despite the many positives, pricing remains a concern, as noted by Eric Mecca. While some customers find the sale items to be of great value, others perceive the prices to be on the higher end when compared to other local alternatives. This dichotomy suggests that while sales are a draw, regular pricing may benefit from re-evaluation to stay competitive in a market where consumers are increasingly price-sensitive.Employee Performance:C Blanchard's feedback indicates that there might be a discrepancy in the performance of newer employees compared to the longstanding quality of service that customers have come to expect. This is an important aspect for Quinn's Market to address, as consistent customer service is key to maintaining loyalty and reputation. I have found everyone to be very cordial in my trips to the market, including the other shoppers.Product Selection and Availability:The availability and selection of goods at Quinn's Market have received praise, notably from Jay Graham, who considers it superior to other local options. This reinforces Quinn's Market's status as a reliable place for diverse grocery needs, ranging from everyday staples to more specific items.Concluding Remarks:In essence, Quinn's Market serves as a vital shopping venue in Peckville, PA. It's clear that while there are areas for improvement—especially in terms of pricing strategy and staff training—the store has a solid foundation of cleanliness, friendly service, and a good selection of products. The constructive criticism offered by various patrons points towards growth opportunities, which, if heeded, could further solidify Quinn's Market's position as a preferred grocery destination.”

“We will definitely go back. I went there to let my son pick a steak for his birthday. I figured a small specialty shop would be best and they did not disappoint.”

“I grew up in Virginia but my parents were from Scranton (Taylor Ave) and Dunmore (Marion St). We would travel to Scranton 5 - 8 times a year and us kids always wanted Gutheinz bologna. A thick slice that was just delicious.I haven't been to Scranton in 10 years but next time I go I'm going to Gutheinz to relive some great memories and get cold cuts you can't get at many places anymore.”

“While here in Scranton for several months I needed to find a grocery store that can be reliably stocked and managed. Saw several reviews that were not high and still wanted to give them a try. The staff were friendly and even the shoppers said hello. The variety of items are on par with the bigger stores and the premade foods as well, almost reminds me of H‑E‑B back in Texas. The receipt says my cashier was Pat and am very pleased she was able to assist, she even ensured I received the discounts from in store savings. The store is well kept with strong lighting to ensure you are able to read any product reviews.”

“I have shopped at the Kaiser Oak and Clarks Summit stores for many years. Though I sometimes do go to Wegmans and Walmart as well as wise supermarkets for specialty items or special sales. Or for other reasons. My go to place is still Gerritys for well over 1/2 of what I purchase. That in itself illustrates that I like the place. Its bakery, deli, dairy, and produce sections are all very good especially for a small chain like this is. The workers are largely competent and friendly. I can get most anything I want there at a fair price and their sales specials are as good or better than most. Impressively, when they switched over from one major supplier to another and, they didn't have certain things that were favorites of regulars who shopped and complained, they added many of these things back to their shelves. The "new" stores now appear to be doing better than the old stores to me. Their sale prices are competitive with anyone. Their quality is as well. The people who work there at least 90% of them let's say to be fair are terrific. Of course they're always exceptions to everything but I will continue to shop at these stores for a long time.”

“Broker said my appointment time was 6am, so I called yesterday to ask if I could park here overnight, we’ll come to find out my appointment time actually isn’t until 1pm (Big Surprise, broker lying to a driver.) But the lady I spoke to on the phone was super friendly and told me that I could park here overnight and that she couldn’t make any promises, because they were booked solid on the morning, but she would do her best to work me in so that I wouldn’t miss my next appointment 150 miles away. They got me backed into a door at 7:30am and are working on getting me unloaded. I truly appreciate there kindness and hospitality. I would definitely deliver here again.”

“5$ sandwiches the best part about this place. Reasonable prices for beverages and other certain things. Only complaint is half the items are missing price tags for as long as I moved to Scranton. 2 years ago 0_o”
