“Great prices and solid selection for vegetables and fruit. Limited bread choices, not much on Indian sauces, but I can work with what they offer.
Staff are friendly, maybe a little shorthanded. Only really see one, or occasionally two, checkout lanes open - but they are efficient.”
“Awesome place owned and ran by awesome people. We will always get the hoagies here for picnics and kennywood.
Love the flowers also. They are the best around. Just go in and look around they have a lot, you won't leave without getting something.”
“I was having my car towed to a shop to have it repaired and the AAA driver who was Towing my car spoke about this store I don't want to pronounce the name because I don't want to mess it up but this Market was everything that the driver said it was and what the driver said was that they had the best sandwiches well I was hungry one day and as I passed the store I decided to make a short left turn park my car and then throw off into that facility oh boy am I glad I did I got an Italian sub sandwich and I have to tell you this homemade sandwich that they put together was just awesome it was so delicious and to add a topping to that they had homemade pastries and I purchase chocolate chip cookies and their peanut butter cookies were to die for why do I say that because I'm a peanut butter cookie crazy woman I love peanut butter cookies so if you're ever in the area stop off at the family store it's a modest Market and they have beautiful fruit also it is well worth the efforts and the husband and wife couple that runs it they are so friendly so kind and attentive they definitely will see me again and probably again and again thank you”
“Food was delicious, portion sizes were satisfying without making us feel too stuffed, wine pairing pours were generous, staff was super friendly! We were happy we splurged on a fancy meal while traveling for a special occasion. I happily paid over $300 for the 5 course vegan menu for two, with wine pairings & an additional course we didn’t want to skip! At that price point, I really wanted the flavors & presentation to blow my mind. It wasn’t the most delish meal I’ve ever had, but we certainly enjoyed it a ton. The vibe of the restaurant also seemed too casual for this price point- staff in cotton logo tees & a pretty standard cafe aesthetic in the dining room. Expected it to look & feel more fancy, but it didn’t dull our experience with the great service or the food. Updated from previous review on 2025-06-17”

“This is one of the nicest Farmers markets. Usually there is a decent amount of parking close by. I was just there last weekend and got a gyro and some from Pitaland. Wow that was really a treat. Filled up my bags with all kinds of veggies. It's so nice knowing that your veggies are really fresh. November 17th 2023 is the last day for this farmers market. I will miss it until next year.”
“Great prices and good quality food as well. The checkout process is convoluted and annoying though. They throw all the items in a cart. Even glass items and stuff like bread so they can either break or get smooshed. Also make sure to bring your own bags if you can. If not you can buy some there. Also bring a quarter for the cart.”
“Bailees bistro food truck is there every Friday 4 to 7. Do yourself the biggest favor and go get something from her. I had a gyro w fries. I'm from Chicago, and have yet to find a gyro home worthy. THIS IS!!! Portions are huge but that doesn't matter your going to want to eat it all I promise. The fries have a seasoning on them that's almost like a season salt and totally brings them to another level. Her food reminds me of sitting in my YaYas kitchen having a gyro from the best place around the corner! Thank you for giving me a taste of home!!!!”

“It's so much smaller than when it was in Carrick Shopping Center. But still friendly. Good for your veggies for the week. I still wish it was in Carrick, so many, many more vendors there”
“I'm a huge fan of Aldi brand products. They're often high-quality (USDA organic, Rainforest Alliance certified, B Corp, Oeko Tex standard, etc.) -- for a fraction of the cost that you'd fine at other major retailers. For example, see the photo of this incredible coffee I'm attaching here. Simply $5 at Aldi, but would certainly be $10 at any other grocer. Not to mention, there are quite a few Aldi in the area, so they're convenient. While you perhaps can't fine very single item on your shopping list, there is always a wide enough selection that you are able to stock your shelves with any essentials! If you haven't ever been before, I highly recommend giving it a whirl.”
“It's a great market and nursery, but it's not cheap. While they obviously offer some home grown goods, a lot is shipped in and there is a premium price placed on items - I don't feel the high price for mass produced goods is warranted, but it is what it is.”

“We love Aldi's. I think their produce beats the other one's. We like trying new things. They have an amazing selection of cheese. Regular and organic fruit choices, too. I buy their frozen vegetables, they're great. Their meat selection is fresh and always full. Plus, you can save a little money too.”
“Best option to make your budget stretch in 2024. Preferred over the many options in the area. Staff are polite and sociable, they laugh at my dumb jokes so, they're the best!!”

“Cheap yet good quality groceries. This particular Aldi is very busy, yet the lines and crowds are usually manageable. Staff are nice enough (and get to sit while they ring you up, yay human rights).
Lots to see and do in the area. It's the Waterfront, after all.”

“While their DEI rollback is extraordinarily regrettable and almost a dealbreaker, historically they've always been a great deal and model of European-style grocery shopping that's to be admired. I won't spend a lot here for now, but they're good for many treats the other nearby stores don't stock”

“Be aware of unusual parking at this location. Converted 4-story old industrial building with ramp to inclosed garage. Elevator for those who need it. Store was well stocked, no options for self checkout. Musta hit just the right time - a dozen people in line before 2nd register opened. Lots of public transportation nearby.”
“at Aldi I have come to expect to see cilantro for 89 cents but just recently I noticed they started carrying parsley. Two types of fresh herbs they sell throughout the year! Product variety is very small. They carry one or two brands, often store brands, of something. Produce is good, fresh, and cheap, and except for the stockers' tendency to throw everything (apples, potatoes, mangos, into to the bin) which I have seen done at ALL stores in the Pgh area. They carry a lot of frozen vegan items, as well as things like cauliflower dough pizza, tofu, etc. I like their flexibility to open up a new lane (listen and learn, Giant Eagle). Prices are sometimes 30-40% lower than the Yost Blvd Giant Eagle up the street. Their cart area is always all trashed out and someone needs to be go there everyday cleaning up the area.”

“Aldi's is a good general store with many good products. The only thing I usually suggest though is not purchasing your fruit or vegetables there.
The reason I suggest not purchasing those are if you plan to use them at a later date. If you're going to be using them that day it's a wonderful location to get stuff. But don't be surprised that if you purchase strawberries or blueberries that they're bad by the next day or the following.
All these tends to not use any companies that have pesticides used with their produce and though not all of their stuff is organic a lot of their stuff doesn't go through irradiation.
Overall it's a good store I only give it four stars because of the produce sections”
