“I came in from out of town to fish penn's in mid August and like a dope I forgot our reels at the hotel. The shop was closed, as it is off season, but Bruce left his number on the door so I gave him a call. Unfortunately service is a bit spotty I the area, but once we returned to service, he called me back and agreed to meet me the following morning. Bought some flies and asked his advice on the area, he even lent me his net since I didn't pack one and sent us on our way fishing. The flies he recommended produced a lot of fish, unfortunately only a half dozen trout (as it is off season), but we were still catching bass and sucker's all day long. Would recommend anyone coming through the area to check this place out”
