We talked about it that night and the next day. The best ever. I had the crab cakes, which were light on filler and heavy on crab. My wife had stuffed flounder, which she said was excellent. Our friends had stuffed flounder and steak. All were well prepared and excellent. Although we were full, we had apple crisp and crème brûlée for desert. Our waitress suggested we visit Mr. G's for ice cream, since we still had another night in the area. I don't recall our server's name, but she was excellent. We will definitely be recommending Mansion House 1757 to friends and family visiting the area!Mansion House 1757 is about 20 minutes from Gettysburg, and it's absolutely worth the drive. The restaurant is beautiful, well maintained, and has a warm, inviting atmosphere. The décor is charming, the service was excellent, and every meal at our table was outstanding. The Maryland crab soup was exceptional. We were still talking about it that evening and again the next day. It was simply the best crab soup we've ever had. I ordered the crab cakes, which were packed with crab and very light on filler. My wife had the stuffed flounder and said it was excellent. Our friends ordered the stuffed flounder and a steak, and both were equally impressed with their meals. Even though we were full, we couldn't resist sharing the apple crisp and crème brûlée for dessert. Both were delicious and the perfect ending to a wonderful dinner. Our waitress was outstanding. I don't remember her name, but she was friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. She even suggested we visit Mr. G's Ice Cream since we still had another evening in the Gettysburg area—a recommendation we appreciated. We will definitely recommend Mansion House 1757 to friends and family visiting Gettysburg.”

“As a cross country rider, I always try to visit every Legion I can. This was a great Legion Post. There is a cook and waitress and a great bartender. The building is well lit inside which is welcome based on many I've been in. There were 20-30 people eating and enjoying themselves. The Post's history is professionally displayed and the post is very clean. Really enjoyed our visit.”
