“Its a shame that the main store is not open anymore. Im only like 30 minutes from it. With that being said, I ordered a Aran sweater on Thursday 12/18 and because of the distance it arrived on Saturday 12/20. It was shipped the same exact day i ordered it. Sweater was perfect, as advertised. And I wish I could share a Pic, but the way it came wrapped in the box like a present with a ribbon, that was a real nice touch. Go Raibh Maith Agat”
“I love that they are LGBTQ+ friendly! This store is gorgeous and well-curated. I try to shop here whenever I need a card or gift. The owner is always friendly and helpful. Definitely one of the best stores in downtown Lititz!”
“This is a lovely little gem in Lititz. I went here not expecting too much but was very impressed with the quality of products. I ended up buying a bottle of “Always in Rose” which has become my go to perfume. I’ve received several compliments when wearing it. It also is not so scent heavy in the store as to cause sensory issues which is a large plus for me.”
“Thank you Michele for welcoming me in your store today. I had a great experience with both you and Danielle today, both so kind. Thank you for helping pick out my gifts today. I love them all and I will be back and tell my friends about your lovely store. Thank You so much!”
“This is your basic souvenir shop if there ever is one. If you happen to be looking for an item to take home as a gift for someone you are sure to find it here. They have everything that you can think of from t-shirts to keychains. Car magnets, do they even make bumper stickers anymore? Magnets, sweatshirts, and many more items that I cannot remember everything to be exact. I have become one of those people that ends up buying magnets whenever I visit a place. My fridge hates me a bit because of it, but it's all good. Every time I go to the fridge, I can take a trip down memory lane. I grabbed myself a magnet and then headed to the keychain section. My keychain for my work keys had bit the dust and I needed a new one, thought why not get one from here since it will be kind of a conversation starter. Staff here were super pleasant and knowledgeable about the surrounding area. I asked where else would be good to visit since I was in the area and they were like an encyclopedia of information.”
“From Tennessee, was in Lancaster, visiting family there. Went in to Madcap & Co since it came up on my search results for souvenirs to get some cute gifts for other family members. Fun shop with all kinds of neat ideas and gifts!”
“It was hard to walk out with only a couple of things, everything was so nice and matched my decor, seemed like the whole store was black white, gray. I loved all the pieces with scriptures.”
“Beautiful things. I’m blessed enough to have a loving Aunt take me here yearly for my birthday and Christmas presents. Call before you go to make sure Karen is open.”
“An exceptional little shop. Prices were unbelievable. Some primitive, some country, some early American decor. Definitely worth stopping in to see what they have for the season, and for all year round. Please check out my photos on Google Maps to see some samples of the goods that they sell. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.”

“Lititz is a monthly visit for me and I never fail to stop in this charming shop. So many beautiful items to chose from! I purchased several Spring home decor items yesterday and can’t wait to display them in my home!”
“Even though my husband and I live in Wilmington, DE, we come up to Lancaster at least once a month, and every time we do we make sure to stop by the Lancaster Gift Box. The Gift Box has tons of items that have become our new staples, like the Stroopwafel-flavored coffee we drink everyday, or the pancake mix we use for our Sunday brunches, or the pretzel-scented candle that makes our home smell amazing. It is clear that a lot of thought has gone into the selection of items in this store and it is all incredibly well-merchandised. We have also found the owners to be super helpful in giving us out-of-towners tips and suggestions for local places to eat or things to do in Lancaster. If you are walking around and shopping in Lancaster, make sure to go up Queen street and visit this wonderful shop.”

“I absolutely love this place. Visited it for the first time and was amazed at the different items they had available. Went looking for a particular wreath I had seen in the Clip magazine and it was made almost exactly as the picture. I will be returning for more great finds.”
“We stopped here while on our Lancaster County day trip. They offer a large variety of beautiful home goods and gifts. We especially enjoyed the extremely pleasant elderly lady who demonstrated how stick candles are made in the workspace in the basement. Allow yourself the time to explore this interesting place.”
“This is my favorite store in Lititz. Look at these beautiful pieces I bought there. The peacock is so adorable and the hot air balloon was a must have the minute I saw it. They both lit up so beautifully last night. We had so much fun shopping and talking with the owners. Alice is so sweet and if we lived close, I’m sure we would be friends. The shoppe has so many different items to take home with you. Go down this alley and shop… truly the best…you will be happy you did!”
“The shops at Kissel Hill Village, offer a variety of stores most of my needs. They have a pet store, a Hallmark store, a place to get your hair done and a phone store. They also offer places to eat such as Frisco’s and a Chinese restaurant. Giant grocery store is attached as well as Target at the end of the plaza.”
“If you can't find what you're looking for here, I don't know where you WILL find it: so many flavors of cheese, cold cuts, popcorn, dips, handmade peanut butter, breads, baked goods, crafts...!!! It can be a little crowded as bus groups stop here so take your patience inside. Two other things: 1) check their open schedule as they are not open every day; and 2) take a cooler to store your goodies in if you're traveling. Everyone offers samples too, so you won't have any buyer's remorse when you get home!”
