“Derick was great from the moment we walked into the store. He kindly greeted us but recognized we knew what we were looking for and not keen on doing another song and dance with a salesperson. Instead of wasting our time with corporate inanities, he gave us a quick orientation of how the store was organized and allowed us to go about our way.

After he had seen that we had made our way through a good portion of the store, he checked in to gauge where we were and to make sure we had no questions. We told him that we knew what we wanted, and he gave us a rundown of the Labor Day promotion while following us to the sectional we had selected. He was very knowledgeable about all parts of it and made sure that we were happy with the left/right orientation, fabric, and other specific details about getting it into the home upon delivery. We were glad he mentioned adding a sleeper, because we hadn’t originally planned on that.

After making sure everything was correct, we sat down to finalize the sale. He made us feel comfortable and walked us through every bit of it making sure that we understood all of the benefits of shopping with EFO. After hearing his pitch for the five-year warranty, we were glad to add that as well.

This is exactly the sectional we have been looking for over the last 18 months, rejecting many other stores’ inventories throughout the northeast. Given that we had finally found something that checked all the boxes after an interstate search, we would have probably bought it regardless of the salesperson. BUT Derick’s sales approach from the time we walked in to the time we walked out guaranteed that we will check this store first for our next purchase.”

“I see alot of terrible reviews about him asking you what you wanna pay and then him saying blah blah blah. It's a tactic to break the ice and start a negotiation. I was just in there and thought it was great. I bought an original xbox and a gameboy advanced. Yeah we didn't agree on the price I said but still came to a great deal. All the people crying that he's a scam artist is full of it. He's a business man the problem is everyone wants stuff for free. I don't know about selling stuff to him because I haven't. Again though he's running a business and he needs to make money also so yeah you probably might get a lowball offer. Alot of people probably just fold when he gives you an offer. That's what a pawn shop does gives you the lowest possible first if you had any negotiation skills you could probably pluck another 50 or more. Him asking personal questions yeah he does but it's to get to know you. All in all he has a great selection of items. The prices are fair most the stuff i seen is under priced. If your looking to go in and buy so you can resell you should probably stick to yardsales. I now he just found a customer that will stop in everytime I'm in bloomsburg.”
