“I had a terrible experience at Ollie’s Bargain Outlet. When I asked why the restrooms were closed, the manager became extremely rude, loud, and aggressive. Instead of giving a simple explanation, she shouted that it was a corporate decision and then followed me out of the store, yelling and even threatening to call the police. To make matters worse, she refused to give me her name when I asked. This behavior was unprofessional, hostile, and completely unacceptable. I will not be returning, and I strongly caution others about the way customers are treated here.”
“Gabriel Brothers can do no wrong, especially for the children. If you need quick clothes for little people or a household item, this is the go to. There's a variety of options, you will likely leave with something even if its not what you came for.”
“I want to thank everyone who helped me and was so kind to my son yesterday. I'm 16 weeks pregnant and while I was waiting for my boyfriend to return from the car I fainted while I was with my son who has autism. The staff and bystanders were so amazing and wonderful to my son who was scared and not able to understand what was going on and to myself. I truly can't thank all of you enough for your kindness and compassion! I will forever be grateful!”

“I love this store but prices have gone up and quality of some stuff is dollar tree status these days. 10 years ago it would have been 5 stars but the prices and what you get for the money take a point off. Look up reviews if you're buying electronics here, there are some great deals but also some stuff that's DOA like 90 percent of the time.”

But, I looked at the reviews for this particular location to make sure I'd be going to one that is usually well stocked (it was for the most part), but the reviews about the cashiers were kinda horrendous. I got here, and of course, so close to Christmas, stock was low and it was busy, but the cashiers...we're SO LOVELY AND FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL AND POLITE. I didn't get their names, but it was the folks with alt-style (like myself), and they had positive attitudes when really, for $12/hr in this economy, all I'd muster is a 'Howyadoin,' but they chatted customers up and were just so pleasant. Idk, I just felt like they should get a shout out for probably just being their typical sweet selves. Which is honestly rare out here these days. It was nice to see folks of different kinds treating each other well and with the regular respect we all deserve. And, that's my Dollar Tree on Banksville review!”

“I enjoy going to this store during the day when the employees are nicer. It only gets 4 stars because During the evenings, there’s a cashier named holly who has dark hair and glasses who stands up front and gives everyone dirty looks or gives people a hard time when she’s ringing people out. Save yourself and go to the self checkout so it won’t be an inconvenience for any worker there. It’s a hit or a miss with employees there, but the misery level needs to be separated from the work life. I like the prices for stuff there otherwise.”

“Hello. I just thought I would drop by and leave a comment. First off no smell. I come into this store when I'm in the area. And sometimes make special trips. I live in Stanton Heights. I don't know any employees personally but the ones in this store are very welcoming. And having to ring a bell means someone is on the floor doing their job. At least they are not sitting behind the counter on their cell phone. I was in the store today and noticed new plantagrams going up. That means new items coming out. “Nice people work here. I shop here because it is easy to get to for me. Amazing prices. The toy section could have a better selection, but it was still a nice selection for all ages. School supplies, cleaning supplies, a quick TV dinner and a few more for the deep freezer?. Cups, plates, cutlery, party stuff, candy, you name it they have it in some form. These places really are great. So what if the product isn't always the greatest? Remember, you paid a dollar and some change for it. At least you still got something right? Anyways, rant over. Great places, nice workers, you should definitely check them out if you are in the area!”

“Went to the Dollar Tree at Brentwood Plaza today. The store seems to have a lot of new faces and they are guys and seem happy to be there or were having a good day. It was busy as this store normally is and they were keeping the lines moving and smiling and talking to the customers all at the same time. I have not been at the store in a few weeks, it does seem like the aisles are getting a bit narrow or it could just be me...more that likely it's me. I am still always able to find what I need whether it's candy, food, dog stuff or house hold things.”
