“Response to Lauren Billington’s review.I see that Tony Wells has responded to most of the issues that were raised. As the property owner, I left the rental agency to communicate with the tenants about any issues including arranging convenient times for me to work on the house. The tenants were kind enough to allow me access, mostly while they were away and they never mentioned any inconvenience.Before leaving for overseas I replaced the entire HVAC system, costing $9000. The old one was working but I did not want to risk a failure while I was away and a new one would be more efficient.While I was away, Tony let me know that a storm had compromised two (85+ feet high) trees in the back yard and recommended that I have them removed, which I organized immediately at a similar cost.I returned to the USA shortly after this and requested access to see the damage done to the back yard by the fallen trees. I found the back yard a mess, with the grass knee high, the rose bush dead from neglect, as were other plants and both front and back yard were covered in weeds. I did need to access the yard several times to regrade and replant grass.After the tenants vacated the home, they forgot to leave their code for the front door lock; when contacted about this, the code supplied did not work resulting in my having to replace the lock. They also did not pay their January water bill.I found Tony to be knowledgeable and thoroughly detailed at all times and believe him to be fair in his dealings.”
