“What can I say about Lawrence Park Shopping Center? I don't get there as often as I used to, but as a child this was the hangout spot! These days, I usually find myself there when I'm running into the Acme for something or maybe the CVS in the parking lot. They still have a lot of good stores, but they're nothing like they were back in the 60s and 70s when they had a movie theater and a bowling alley and we would all be chased by the cops daily. For some reason they didn't like us hanging out there, though there was nothing else to do in the town for us young kids. We were known as the LP Center Boys! ;-)”
