“Dr. Heyde and his team are the best. They have been our vet for 5 years now and have been very supportive and sweet to all 3 of our pets. Unfortunately we lost our shepherd (15 yo) in December, but before that Dr. Heyde took such wonderful care of him every time I brought him in the office even in his less mobile days when walking on tile or staying upright was a challenge. Now we just have our 2 kitties who typically come in as a duo and Dr. Heyde and his team always show them so much care and compassion. I also appreciate the holistic approach Dr. Heyde takes with my guys; he isn't a doctor that is going to try to upsell you or make you spend extra money. He never rushes out of the room, spends adequate time with each patient and has also always been available to answer questions and give advice via phone or email when something comes up outside of an appointment. Really sweet and knowledgable group of people, brand new state-of-the-art building and fast, reliable care! I would definitely recommend Dr. Heyde and the Pets First team to anyone looking for a new vet!”

“First took our 6 year old cat here a few months ago for an illness visit after deciding to switch vets from a vet we were previously seeing in New Jersey. From the moment we walked in we knew immediately he was in good hands and have then decided to take the rest of our cats here as well.
The staff here are friendly, patient with both humans and animals & very knowledgeable. In both times we have been to the Fishtown office; I have had no doubt about the care our cats have received, have left the office feeling like any concerns or questions I have had were heard and answered and that our cats were well taken care of.

I used to go to H&P but it was very impersonal and I didn’t feel they were giving me all the information I needed. Dr. Chay and Dr. Aldinger are very knowledgeable and thorough. Their staff is incredible, very friendly, and loving to my kitty tutly when I bring him in. Couldn’t ask for a better vet.”
“Newtown Square Veterinary Hospital treats me and my two Yorkies Marcel & Miso like family. My boys love coming here and getting attention from all of the staff. They are knowledgeable, informative, and true animal lovers. The wait is never bad. We always get seen on time. The rooms are always clean and pretty spacious. My questions and concerns are always answered carefully and throughly. My pets never return fearful because they are so gentle with them. They quickly get records over to me when I need to send them to other places. They are slightly more expensive than others in the area but the quality of care is unmatched! I’m lucky they are so close to me because finding a good vet can be a nightmare. Having them on my side makes me a much better pet owner.”

Alas I moved and the drive was no longer sustainable for my old anxious dog.
Dr. Muriel Enders is an angel. Precautious without being an alarmist, down to earth, took time to explain things to me, super calm energy.
She called me at 8pm to follow up on a thought she had about an ailment my dog has. What a truly wonderful veterinarian. Feeing lucky to have come across Dr Enders and looking forward to sticking with the practice.”

“My Boxer needed to see a cardiologist to ascertain the severity of his right ventricular cardiomyopathy. I was on a cancellation list for an earlier appointment and was called when one came up for grabs. Score 1 for them reaching out to me instead of me having to continually call to check. When we arrived, the front desk staff fussed over my boy and snapped his photo. There was no wait time: I was called in exactly on time for the appointment. Nurse took history questions and was kind and patient. Doctor was superlative: patient and extremely knowledgeable. Absolutely flawless in his care and diagnostics”

“Bywood Veterinary Hospital is an amazing place! They are so caring, patient and kind. They advise but also listen. I had to put my darling cat to sleep today and the staff could not have been more helpful and compassionate! Even though it was a painful experience, our fur baby was treated very well. “Everyone here is super personable and informative. Dr. Knighton and the Tech that checked out Fred, my 10 week old street urchin, were super gentle with him. They gave me a clear overview of what to expect for upcoming visits. They also used treats to help Fred be calm while he received care.
I also really appreciated that the front desk staff is able to give you a ballpark quote for the cost of the visit. There's nothing like being blindsided with fees.
I called around to a few places before picking City Cat Vets. Their pricing seems very fair in comparison.
I totally recommend them if you've got a kitty. The office is dog free. The space is super calm and quiet. The staff are A+ from the first phone call with the front desk to the visit itself.”

“My cat is not a patient at Just For Cats, but they were so incredibly helpful to me and my cat when I was desperately searching for a bag of her special diet food. My cat’s food at her regular vet was out of stock, my delivery order of her food was delayed, and my cat was running out of food. I called and emailed dozens of vets in the Philly/Greater Philly area, and Just For Cats was the only one willing and able to help me and my cat, even though she is not a patient with them. Without their help, my cat would’ve run out of her special diet food and I would’ve been at a loss for what to do. I am so grateful for their help, and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a caring and compassionate practice for their cat.”
“My dogs have been patients here for almost a decade. Nothing but good things to say. A lot of improvements and changes when the practice was handed off to the next generation (I believe our original Vets daughter took it over though not sure how many partners there are so I may be missing some details). They are always great at calling to remind about next years appointment. They also are great at offering those Vet extras without being to pushy”

Great neighborhood vet with a compassionate, experienced, and professional staff.It cost us ~$200 total without any insurance to get our 2 cats their checkup, and we were out the door in less than 45 minutes. The vet has a great touch with cats and was able to keep both of ours calm despite some necessary medical man-handling!Don't come here looking for easy parking - visit for the best neighborhood vet you could ever want.”

“What can I say? I wish we could all pass on while lying on our beds on the porch, in the full sunshine and surrounded by family, with a belly full of Reese's peanut butter cups. This was the best money ever spent. Dr. Aronson was so kind, respectful, and really listened. She let us set the pace and explained what was going to happen, both in advance and as it went on, and made sensitive suggestions throughout and giving us space as needed. After she left, she followed up with a poem based on the stories we told her about my dog, along with a nose print that she took of him. Being able to say goodbye to your dog on your own time and in a stress-free setting of your choosing is the greatest gift. I'm so grateful we had this option and I'm so glad we had Dr. Aronson there to help.”

I took her to another vet who had zero compassion and my friend recommended The Cat Hospital of Media. Dr. Yolanda Revilla is so wonderful, informative and compassionate. I had to make one of the most difficult decisions of my life and Dr. Revilla and the staff were all so terrific. I really want to thank them for truly caring and loving my precious girl. Dr. Revilla sent me a card and today I opened the mail to receive a beautiful watercolor painting from the hospital in honor of my little girl. Thank you all so much. Reservations tend be available a month or so later when you call, so plan ahead and book early.”

“Our dog came down with an eye infection on Friday night after my Vet closed for the long New Years weekend. We couldn't ignore it for 4 days so on Saturday morning we frantically searched for someone who would help. After numerous refusals, we reached out to Bryn Mawr Vet. Not only were we relieved to find they were open, but estatic that they were happy to squeeze us in. Again, this was the Saturday before New Years Eve! The entire staff was extremely kind and caring. The office was spacious, clean and welcoming. Doctor Greenamyer was wonderful. She gently and thoroughly examined our dog's eye, immediately identified the issue and explained to us what it was, much to our relief. With the meds she perscribed, our dog's eye began to clear up nicely. We can't expres how grateful we are to the Bryn Mawr Veterinary Hospital (my dog's new Vets, BTW), Dr. Greenamyer and the staff.”
