“I love shopping in this store. I don't live in PA, so anytime I can shop there I'm happy! My only complaint is there Christmas ornament sale is laughable. Very very few ornaments are actually on sale! Why is that? Other than that, this place has everything I love!!”

“My family and I came here yesterday for brunch to celebrate my birthday. The food was tasty. Everyone enjoyed their meals for the most part. The only items we didnt care for were the crispy fried potatoes and the potato doughnuts. The potatoes were overdone. The doughnuts didnt have much flavor. We expected them to be a little spicy because of the jalepenos but they weren’t. We didnt mind going up the counter to order our drinks and food. The staff were friendly and helpful.”

“I’m on my 6th concert poster frame up w/ Artworks. Every single person that has helped us has been outstanding to work with. The quality of work done has been stellar. These pieces will be handed down for years to come. Thanks to everyone involved from the moment we walk in till the piece leaves the shop. ????”

“Very happy Metropolis has been open again. Hannah and Richard are so unique and focused, they are HUGELY responsible for breathing life back into an area that was fading away. Besides the excellent quality of every piece in the gallery, you can find handmade jewelry, accessories and eye catching creations showcased by local artists. Oooh, and don't forget the bands!! Live music that sounds good! Something about the area where the stage is.. great acoustics. Maybe I'll see you there!”

“The Art Association is nestled downtown just around the corner from the library. I've lived in the area my whole life and never even knew it was there! I took a wonderful paint class with a top notch artist to teach us. Her directions were clear, she didn't move too fast, and she was always willing to help. I so enjoyed myself. So much that I'm thinking of taking up classes there. They offer watercolor, acrylic, and oil paint classes. I'm really intrigued by the clay class held in their clay studio on Reservoir Park. The prices are very reasonable too.”

“Let's bring this one up to the current. Over the years I've been to the Whitaker Center many, many times for all three of its components. Years ago, when the children were younger the science center was fairly interesting, and they appreciated it. We've seen tons of IMAX shows here and have plans in the not too distant future to come back for the one about Ireland, since that probably about as close to going as we'll ever get.But this time it was for some theatre, specifically Fiddler on the Roof. I've been to the Sunoco Theatre for concerts - specifically Tower of Power probably six or seven times. The theatre is an excellent small space with great acoustics and truly no seat is a bad seat.Really the only turkey of the whole evening was that the show itself was less than half full. Picked up seats on the website in the front row the day before the show for a Saturday night.I mean I know that Harrisburg at night in general isn't exactly the greatest place or idea but it's not THAT bad. Hell, the meters are off after 5pm and we were able to park on 3rd Street super close no problem. They don't offer as many shows as they did maybe 10-15 years ago but any chance I get to come see something here at a non-Live Nation/Ticketmaster venue is always a-ok with me.”
