“If you're on a fixed budget, this is the place to go in all of Carbondale. Great staff help from Kim and Paul; the only thing I did not like is there their prices went up from 1 dollar to 1.25 to 1.75 for some items, confusing; dang economy so I cannot blame them. 5 stars, if you hate a long line I suggest don't go around 11am-1pm or 5pm, I was in a line with I crap you not, 20 people one time!! Otherwise, it's always been helpful to me.”
“It wasn't well stocked when I went in but still has some good deals on items that are considerably more expensive else where and you get it for a $1.25 can beat that”
“To be real I love this dollar store so much... I got burned really really bad and my gf ran into to get burn supplies crying and an employee stopped what he was doing and opened up a new register... I went in days later and thanked them and the employees were so kind... you guys and girls rock fr fr”
“This was my first visit to this store as I work nearby. Masks are optional as of my late May 2021 visit. Upon entering I was a bit impressed. This is the first Dollar General I've seen that has a little produce section! I understand this was recently added and I thought it was a great idea. They have a lot of nice budget friendly home deco/outdoor deco items-- you'll pay a lot less here than in more expensive big box stores and I was pretty impressed with what they offered. On my most recent visit I grabbed three colorful table torches and a big bottle of fuel for around $15. I've shopped for these on websites and the torches alone are over $20 (for a set of three). A self checkout register is available, but on my visit, it wasn't operable. The bags they give you are thick plastic and hella sturdy. I'll get many other uses out of these! The check-out girl seems less than thrilled, but my motto is "Kill 'em with kindness!!" so I gave her a smile and a "have a great day!" and she seemed to perk up a little!”
“I go into all the dollar generals in the area. This store is so much better then other DG stores. It's clean, organized, products are easy to find. The manager I spoke to is the nicest guy. You can tell he takes pride in his store”
“Always friendly, i live a few miles away from this store and never had a bad experience.
I was behind a guy in line last summer, and I SWEAR that it was Mr. Dinklage from Game of Thrones. Not kidding either.”
“Amazing store, very clean, wonderful staff.
Out of any Dollar General i have been in the atmosphere keeps me wanting to go back and shop. Everyone is very knowledgeable and very ready to help with any needs you have . Highly recommend.”
“So Michael, at this location definitely deserves a raise! He Helped me with a fed ex package when the peckville store refused it! I appreciate your concern for customers Michael you are an A1 employee!!”
“Wonderful staff the lady was very nice and helpful and I don’t think workers like this get enough credit the hours and how rude people can be I really think over all this was a good place to grab a few fast things and the people working were so friendly”
“Peckville location is great friendly workers . probably understaffed by 1 but they make it work .
While stocking shelves and keeping register open .

“Love coming here. Staff is very helpful and kind, wide array of affordable meals and snacks. And an optimal amount of affordable household and stationary products. As with every Dollar General, a little cramped and unorganized, but doesn't take away from the experience for me!”
