They charged my package expecting date of 3rd day $44 plus tax but delivered on 4th day is suppose to be $28 plus tax. They took my one day extra money that is $16 extra.

It has been a whole 30 days since placing my change of address, I have not received a single piece of mail in 30 days!! I have stopped into the office and called. They said they were having “system issues” where their printer wasn’t printing change of address stickers. 30 days with no mail is unacceptable!!!

Been here multiple times and it’s the same rude staff. No need to take your low pay frustration out on others

To echo recent low ratings, this branch staff is very rude and passive aggressive. Came in with a small package to send, asked if they could tape it shut for me and got a snide remark about “are we letting customers do this now?” to her coworkers. I’ve never had a problem asking for a couple inches of packing tape, but I was willing to acknowledge maybe they charge now and would ask how much it was. As I was filling out my address sticker, the woman at the counter was huffing and puffing and made it seem like I was being demanding or irritating after I simply said “that’s okay, I’ll just do it at home.” You’d have thought I asked for free shipping with the attitude and just right off the bat flippant responses. When I reiterated I would do it at home, she said “ugh just bring it here”. Why work here if you hate it? Not to mention, we had to report our mail carrier for SIGNING my name for a package. He forged my signature, never rang the doorbell, and luckily we had cameras to see where he stuck the package (in a door he never usually does). I was home when all this happened so I would have been able to get the door. No word on any of that either. I would rather drive far than use this location again. Avoid unless you don’t mind feeling like your presence is an inconvenience.

Terrible, terrible staff. Why are these people working here?? They never answer the phone so I had to come in person and had a super annoying and disrespectful experience with the two middle aged women in here. They stood around talking to each other obnoxiously and being very rude instead of helping out with the long line. Terrible customer service. As others have said, “The Carlisle Post Office is very obviously lacking leadership and direction from the top.”
As someone else said earlier in these reviews, “Rude people working in a forward facing customer service position is unacceptable. Our tax dollars are being flushed down the drain.”

This facility is absolute garbage. Since I’ve moved into my home in 2019 I’ve had constant issues with my mail being delivered. This past week I had two separate packages that were marked delivered and in my mailbox but were never delivered. I personally went into the boiling springs post office today and had an employee call over to the Carlisle branch. They said that they left the package in my mailbox earlier in the day. When I came home from picking my children up from school there was no package in my mailbox. I called into Carlisle postal service this evening and they claim they have no clue where my package is even though they marked it as delivered and told the employee over the phone that it was delivered today and in my mailbox. We are beyond pissed. Someone has been at home during the times of said deliveries and we also have home cameras. I have a suspicion that their workers are stealing packages if nobody can tell me where my packages are even though they are marked as delivered. This postal service is awful. Been dealing with this for over 5 years now and am disgusted by their service. We pay for the service as well as shipping fees but nothing is received on time or received at all. Oh, and I forgot to mention that they NEVER PICK UP THE PHONE

Very rude and impatient employees : if a customer does not understand something, you don't have to be rude and/or sarcastic.
I really understand every day they have to deal with different people, but they need to be patient if this is their job.

Annoying experience so far, I did a passport application this morning, left this mid afternoon then saw that I didn’t have my wife’s or my birth certificate with me. I went back and talked with a lady up front who had the worst attitude when I asked if I left our stuff behind. Apparently I wasn’t listening to her correctly. No one told me when we did our application that they were going to keep our birth certificates.

Been using this location to send my boyfriend mail in basic training. I’ve sent 2 packages. First time the clerk said they changed the address and need to override it so it gets to its location. Second time send a package I verify with a different clerk if everything is good address wise. Yeah clearly not. It’s been 10 days and my package keeps getting jerked around between PA and NC not getting to the destination. Triple check. And don’t trust people to get things taken care of.
