“OMG I love the ppl ive dealt with and spoke too. Ive had encounters with staff three times in three years for different reason. But when I say friendly, helpful, and just their attitude in itself shows how much they love the Animal. I happen to do volunteer work a few years back at the other one in Waynesboro. Ill just say its like night and day at this one. God bless the staff, volunteers, for just their amazing attitudes.”

“They treat their small animals so ethically versus Petco. They provide their hamsters with actual wheels instead of flying saucers and only one per cage how it should be, they also sold sand for hamsters.

“I am a little overdue in leaving this review, but it is well deserved. I adopted my super cute and playful Bichon Poo, Nayla, on May 2nd and I have been in love since. I first came across The Pet Store years ago while attending Penn State Mont Alto, back when they were at their previous location. Over time, I purchased rabbits for myself and for family members, and I even convinced my sister to get her Yorkie Bichon from them in 2019. Every experience has been consistently positive with friendly staff and helpful guidance.
Purchasing my pup on May 2nd was somehow an even better experience. They were kind, patient, and incredibly supportive. They even held her for me while I drove up from Virginia, which showed a level of trust and service that is hard to find!
Their puppies and other animals are clearly well cared for. They provide a wealth of information and resources so you feel confident and prepared. You receive free microchipping, food, and detailed vet cleared records. They are transparent about everything, including breeder information, so you know exactly what you are getting and from WHERE.
