Rutter's #65 is a busy, sometimes short-staffed store. The chicken and fries are good, with well-seasoned fries and hot, fresh chicken. However, the burger can be tough. Fishing bait has been poor, with dehydrated and moldy worms. Service is generally efficient, though some expect more politeness from the tired employees. It remains a regular stop for many despite these occasional issues with food quality and supplies.
One girl and this older lady maybe the manager were being really mean to another younger male employee for pushing a wrong button which he asked about prior to doing so because he couldn’t find the right one. Just rude.

Very bad service. I went to get a coffee and there was no half and half. I asked for one and they told me the truck had just arrived and it was still there. I asked if I could grab one from the refrigerator and they told me I had to pay for it. The coffee station really needs cleaning.

I bought an $19 bag of beef jerky on my way to work today, 4/29/2025. It expired in January and is rancid. I just tried to call the store three times to see if I can get my money back and they don’t even answer their phone. Disputing the charges with my card company. Awful awful experience.
