“If I could give Ron ten stars, instead of five, I would. He would truly deserve it. I found my 16 year engagement ring to have lost a diamond and received an estimate to get it fixed elsewhere. They said it lost two prongs and needed the diamond replaced. I then brought it to Ron's Big Diamond Importer & Fine Jewelry for an estimate. He had many wonderful highly rated reviews and I wanted to try him out for an estimate as well. He informed me four prongs were needed, with the replacement of the missing diamond, and verified with proof of taking the time to show me under a microscope. He is exceedingly professional, precise and pleasant to be around. If I need anything done in the future, I would 100% go back to Ron and highly recommend everyone else to do the same!”

“While I didn’t make a purchase at Kaplan’s, I wanted to write a review for their customer service and help with my watch. My grandfather worked for Disney a long time ago and I replaced the battery and band myself for this vintage watch he gave handed down. However, I could NOT get the watch back on at the end, no matter what I tried. I took it to Kaplan’s for help and without question, they were so kind. They kept it for the day while I was at work then called me when it was done. At no charge, they not only put the back on again, but they also cleaned it up a bit and set the time and date. This might be standard for some places, I’m not sure, but it was really kind of them to take care of something sentimental for me at no cost, and with respect for something that isn’t considered fine jewelry by any means. Thank you!”
“This shop is always worth your time when you're in Phoenixville. You can find the most unique items and it's difficult to leave empty handed. The store itself is set up beautifully. You really have to look to appreciate the details and when you scan you notice it's like a fantastic museum shop, but with much more interesting finds. The prices are fair and the quality is top notch. The staff is approachable, friendly, helpful, and available if you need them, but otherwise you can just enjoy the store.”

I have a few antique rings that I wanted to have sized, being antique its questionable on what issues you could run into, however, Kevin was very thorough with his explanation of what may happen with doing the work but that didn't hold him back on my request! “I cannot recommend Calhoun Jewelers enough! Richard instantly made me feel welcome and was also so incredibly helpful and informative. I brought him a couple of pieces of jewelry (a necklace and an anklet) of mine that had gotten so tangled together that I never thought I'd be able to get them undone. Seriously, I and various family members and friends had sunk hours into trying to untangle the chains over the years, and to no avail. Well, I finally handed them off to Richard and he said he'd take a crack at them, and by the end of the week, he had performed what I thought was impossible - he got them apart! I was expecting that he would have to cut some of the chains and resolder them back together, but he managed to untangle them without cutting/reattaching anything. And the price I was charged for the work that he did was so reasonable, I really can't sing my praises for this establishment and for its team enough! Thank you again Richard and Calhoun Jewelers!!!”
