My dad's large family grew up in Brookville, and my family were there often to visit and be at the yearly reunions (eventually using the pavilion at the Sylvania park). We could not head back to Erie without cones, or root beer floats, and/or some wonderful candy! I even took a box of candy to the retired president emeritus of Emmaus Bible College (when it was in Oak Park, IL, Dr. Dan Smith (he was delighted!) How great that Dan Smith's fine, attractive, well-staffed-with-friendly-folks stores now exist in Brookville (new location) and in Clarion!! The ideal candies and gifts store(s) !!!”
