“Jessie did an AMAZING job with my blood draw, ESPECIALLY since she was running the whole place ALONE, with 25 walk-ins plus those who already had appointments. NO ONE should ever have to run an entire facility by themselves, that is insane AND it is NOT SAFE!! She is literally AMAZING!! I called corporate to tell them they needed to send her some help ASAP because she can't predict the number of walk-ins on a Friday for goodness sakes! They said they'd call her supervisor to get someone sent over. Poor girl's tummy was growling she was so hungry, so I called the pizza place next door and ordered a meal to be delivered to her ASAP! She needs fuel to run that place like she was. LabCorp really put that girl in an awful position and it was not her fault, but she handled the chaos with such grace and was so kind to everyone! All the patients were so patient! Good job Jessie! You deserve an award! Bravo!”

“I was able to schedule a next day morning appointment. We were in and out, and Dolly was fantastic. I typically bruise pretty badly, and there’s no evidence I had bloodwork done this week. She also was very kind to not only myself, but my two small children in tow. We were there before 9am, and there was no one in the waiting room when we got there and only a couple of people as we were leaving. The waiting room was spacious, and clean. Even though it’s further for me, I would definitely come back to this location!”

Just updating my review as I went back again and had another amazing experience. The staff is wonderful and helps with my anxiety. Also, I’ve never had to wait long, even without an appointment and at a busy hour. I will never go to any other location for labs!!!!!”

“I got lucky and got in to see a doctor fairly quickly. The visit was actually too quick. Although the staff were polite. It felt like I was being rushed. my concern and the reason I am writing this is that they took a swab and had it sent out, told me to "go online to see results". My problem is that not everyone is capable of doing that. Example there were other patients in there that were Amish/Mennonite whom doesn't use these technologies. And then there are the elderly who do not. I never got a phone call with my diagnosis however the next day I got a email to say I had a bill. Getting the bill before my diagnosis was a little annoying to me. I am tech savvy and was able to see my result however, it said it wasn't read by the doctor yet and not too take it for being the actual result. Not just this place, but all places medical facilities, are becoming less attached to their work. With peoples lives in their hands it's not a comfortable feeling. This issue I am bringing up can be easily fixed with increasing their communications directly to the patient in a timely manner. I hope it gets better for all of us.”

“Make sure you schedule your appointment as you'll be taken right in on your scheduled time. My tech was very helpful and nice, and helped when my paperwork for the bloodwork hadn't been sent to Quest yet. I tried Labcorp once and had to come back to Quest because customer service is so much better here!”

“I see some negative comments here. Maybe those folks are going to a different place. The receptionists, doctor’s aides and the doctors their could not have been more helpful or accommodating.I rarely review anything but I have been ? satisfied with my treatment and interactions. They have gone above and beyond in the Parkersburg office for me on multiple occasions.”

“Look, a blood draw is pretty straightforward, but the phlebotomist who saw me today was kind enough to use an ace bandage material to hold on the gauze instead of tape on my hairy arms, and I appreciate that.”

“Made a reservation for 7pm on Monday evening, thinking I had a bad ankle sprain. The desk staff were so kind and helpful and I was seen by 7:15. PA Brooke Johnson was wonderful and so very nice - an excellent bedside manner and was sympathetic when telling me my ankle was broken. She explained everything thoroughly and answered all of my questions . X-Ray staff also very good. If ever urgent care is needed again, I will not hesitate to use Penn LGH, for me or my family.”

“Today I went for my quarterly blood work. I had an appointment set (idk why people make such a fuss about waiting ages for walk in, that’s how it’s always been! Make an appointment to avoid). I was seen in less than 5 minutes after checking in. There was a young man at the front desk, and a female phlebotomist in the back. Unfortunately I forgot her name, but she said she had been there only 3 weeks. When I say this was the BEST experience I have had at Labcorp, I mean it. And it was solely because of her. She was so kind, funny, and made it PAINLESS which has never happened to me. Both of my arms are fully tattooed and instead of making me feel bad for tattoos covering my veins (which most phlebotomists do), she complimented my work and quickly got my vein. Truly wish I could have her everytime I went. 10/10 experience!”
