“I went in to get a few things like hand soap, hand sanitizer, as well as a few planters, and the cutest fencing. You can no longer take the shopping cart to your car, and it was too bulky to carry all that stuff, so the owner/ manager volunteered to help me with my packages, and I was not only appreciative but very touched by her willingness to help me. “The manager at the store now, Star is fantastic. The last few managers have been horrific. Star has come into a store that was a mess and has definitely turned it around. The store is now clean and stocked. Everything is organized and I love to go in there and shop. Even better that Star is friendly and likable and seems to care about her customers. Definitely my number 1 dollar general. For a time there, I didn’t go in as the previous manager (an older lady) was rude and complained about having to do her job, treated her staff and customers so disrespectfully and the way she spoke to staff in front of customers, was diabolical. Star, is an absolute breath of fresh air. I’m glad I went back into the gap store now! Well done Star ⭐️ your hard work doesn’t go unnoticed and your name definitely suits you ? superstar… so grateful for you and your staff.
