From day one, it was clear that Goddard isn’t just a place where kids are “watched.” It’s a place where they’re nurtured, supported, and celebrated. The teachers care deeply — from how they comfort a child to how they tailor learning based on each child’s personality and needs.
The curriculum is thoughtful and covers all areas of early childhood development. Over the years, we’ve watched both our kids come home proud of what they've learned, the friends they have made and excited to share stories.
They’re responsive to emails, follow hygiene and safety protocols (which is very important to us given one of our child has allergies), and communicate clearly (and provide honest feedback). They say what they’ll do, and they do what they say — with care and intention.”

“ABC land was one of the best decisions we’ve made to start our daughter’s education journey. She has learned so how and have grown emotionally and academically because of the hard work the teachers and staff put into preparing the children for the future! “I miss going here. This place was my childhood, going there back when the old location was still opened. The atmosphere is always great for kids, especially during the summer. Unfortunately, as the years went on, it became a lot more adults, no longer being just for the kids. It went from a small and colorful establishment with a huge love of Puertorriqueno feels to a bland building that became more restrictive. From happy employees thinking of the kids first to employees just there to get small cash in their pockets. I still love this place, but I miss how it used to feel, especially now that I'm no longer a part of it. I don't get to see the old locations where I used to learn. Never lose your Puertorican joy

“I loved this school from 1946 to 1953. Such pretty girls, not fully appreciated at that time. Alice K Liveright was our principal - may she be remembered with love. Miss Bradley was my beloved first and second grade teacher. I could not submit this review but that she taught me to read and write.”

“10/10 experience from the place, staff, setup. It was perfect, my son turned 1 and we had his party here. They say there isn’t parking but there is street parking or 1 block away a nice parking lot”

“My daughter has been attending TLE since she was 8 months’ old - she is now 4. My wife and I chose this daycare center because of the curriculum. There is no tv babysitting happening here. The center has gone through its growing pains. Now that my daughter is older and the center is under new direction with more wonderful teachers, we enjoy that my daughter can go on trips for summer camp that stretch her learning outside of the classroom.”
“My daughter has thrived at The Giving Tree! We have been so happy, it feels like we found a family with Ms Shante and Ms Louise. They are great communicators- no easy feat during the pandemic. The teachers share videos and updates on the classroom app and seem to really know my daughter- even if they aren’t her primary teacher! The center is clean and offers so many places to play- the Mini Gym is a great asset. They also have enrichments with music, gymnastics, librarian visits and field trips. My girl loves learning through play and has grown so much during her time at TGT.”

“My son has attended this location since he was five months old and is currently two. The Director and Teachers are fantastic and do a phenomenal job loving and teaching him. At the tender age of two, my son speaks on the level of an almost three-year-old. If you want to feel comfortable that your child is loved and educated, send them to this Brightside location. “Since this school had a director change like a year ago it became amazing! My daughter (2.5 yo) loves going there every day, teachers go above and beyond with so many craft activities every day and every time it is something new! There is a dance and Spanish class every week, and yoga every other week. Kids play in a big playroom twice a day during recess. We are very happy with this school now, it gives us peace of mind so we can focus on our work and not worry about our little girl.”
