“I bought a beautiful MCM dresser. It was refinished beautifully and delivered with care. There was one small problem with a drawer divider and Toby took care of it immediately and without question. I have since used Yardley for a couple of other projects and have loved the service and can not recommend them more highly!!!”
“Always stop in when I’m in Swarthmore and always leave with a little treasure. The owner is extremely kind and friendly and treats everyone who comes in like an old friend. Stock refreshes frequently and prices are very fair - they price to sell, not to hoard :) There just aren’t many little quirky shops like this around anymore, so this is a gem.”
“Such a charming spot with great finds. Carol is fantastic and helped us find what we had our eyes out for and then some! Walked out with heavy hands, will definitely be coming back!”
“Super cool bookstore. Pretty small selection of clothing, but what was there was fun to look through. Fantastic selection of LGBT books, including a good young adult section.”
“They have some plus size things, quilts, fabrics, a kitchen section, tons of dish-ware, vases, kids things and jewelry.
I took a gander through the plus size things but none of the clothes were in size order and i would’ve needed an hour or 2 to sift through all of those clothes and find something that would’ve maybe fit me. I loved looking at the vintage and name brand things regardless.
I was mostly interested in the decor, figurines, bags, shoes and jewelry. The bags were in very good condition and the shoes were super cute but not labeled well and again in a random placing. I would’ve had to sift through every shoe to figure out what was my size was and there were just too many people and too many shoes.
The jewelry section wasn’t much to look at either unless you’re looking for earrings or you like very colorful chunky jewelry. I’m unfortunately plain and boring these days.
I’d say really it’s a place with beautiful decor and figurines. This place definitely has something for everyone and a great selection of heavy coats might I add. Security was also on it around closing.”
“The real deal ! You won't go round the store and miss something you like. I got my couch, tv stand, dresser and I'm enjoying having them.
Very friendly and helpful owners. I will always pop in and check what you have.”
“Very cool pieces and a wide array of items, worth it to stop by! Staff is borderline rude/couldn’t care less tbh but maybe that’s just their vibe lol, don’t take it personal”
“Amazing shop following an important mission! They have a small menswear section at the back and mostly stock good quality button ups, suits, and trousers. Some outerwear, accessories, and tees. They curate and price their selections exceptionally well.”
“Food was amazing! I would honestly love to gate keep but they deserve their flowers!! Beef kebabs were 10/10. Plantains fried perfectly, snapper well seasoned with veggies and the rice was tasty as well. No complaints. I’ll be ordering again without a doubt.”
“I discovered The Wardrobe recently while researching places to donate my clothes that would go to a good cause and help the community. Clearly, I'm late to the party! This place is great! The location is conveniently located and I've been able to pull my car up front and use their wheeled bins to load up clothing to donate. The store is clean and well-organized, and the staff has been super nice and friendly during the two visits I've made so far. On my last visit I even scored a very nice vintage blazer! They even have flyers with resources for jobs and other things for people in need, and the events they post on Instagram seem are really cool-they help people build their wardrobes and feel good about their appearance to get them ready for success!”
“This is such a fantastic op shop - it's really clean, well-organised, and super affordable, plus the profits fund services for long-term homeless people which is clearly very much needed in Philly! I bought several leather belts for $1 each and my sister got a cute dress for just $4.”
“The ladies are so nice, friendly and helpful!
The shop is small but extremely neat and beautifully decorated.
The items are priced very affordable to help the church.”
“the staff was very friendly! there’s a great selection of nice clothes, jewelry, and shoes. the shop is very clean and organized. i will definitely be going back!”

“I had a pleasant experience visiting this furniture store. The furniture selection was nice, and I was able to find exactly the couch I was looking for. The staff was friendly, helpful, and provided good customer service throughout my visit.
Unfortunately, the store does not offer its own delivery service and instead uses independent contract delivery providers. For my location, the delivery costs were quite high and would have exceeded the price of the couch itself, making it impractical for me to move forward with the purchase.
Overall, I liked the quality and appearance of the furniture and appreciated the courteous service. While it wasn't the right fit for my situation due to the delivery costs, others who are closer to the store or have their own transportation may have a better experience.”
“I love resource exchange! From someone who loves crafts, sustainability, and thrifting, this really is such a wonderful concept. They have everything you could imagine from stamps, beads, needles, thread, paint, pens, you name it, they have it. Highly recommend checking it out!”
“This store is a true treasure. Rare books, vintage pins, glassware, and collectibles abound. The owners are pleasant and very fair with their prices — I can always find a treasure and be greeted with smiles here. A truly wonderful shop that is a must for those who love treasures they didn’t know they needed.”
“Very well-stocked supermarket
It is go there spend some money. They have experience employees. Just ask them a question about item you cannot find they will take you to it.”
“Didn't get to take full advantage of Philly AIDS Thrift as I couldn't really buy anything breakable (and there is lots of great crockery and glassware) but the clothing section is wonderful, the store has a great atmosphere and lovely staff and I got some great items for a MEGA-IMPORTANT cause. Thank you !”

“great employees with CLASSIC thrift store prices. if youre like me and youre sick of goodwill constantly jacking up prices this place is great. pans and pots for 1-3 dollars. shirts for no more than 5. you do have to do a little bit of digging but thats the thrifting experience!”
“Really neat local thrift store with a wide variety of items that will definitely have at least one thing that catches your eye! For example, on one visit I bought a pickleball set, Swedish dishcloths, and a college tervis tumbler.
Also, Greg (one of the owners) is a super chill and kind guy who helped me out with my purchases. Go support this local business!”
“This was my first time visiting this church for Mass, and it was a wonderful experience. It’s a very beautiful little parish with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The priest was young but very insightful—he explained the meaning of the Gospel in a way that was easy to understand and truly relatable.
The congregation was friendly, and it was especially nice to see the children playing an active role in the Mass. Watching a young boy help with the donations was heartwarming. Overall, it was a lovely and meaningful visit.”
“My favorite thrift store! I always find brands I like and the prices have stayed low compared to others in the area. All the tshirts are $1 if I remember correctly. Love this place.”
“The owners are great and so are most of the workers. I've been shopping here for 3-4 years, mostly jewelry. There has been less high end treasures than before but here and there you can get lucky.”

“Great store to purchase quality items. The store is clean, well lit, well stocked with a variety of clothing, shoes, household items and reasonably priced. This is my go to location for donating items and shopping. I'm always happy with my purchases.”

“I really enjoyed this store. I was impressed by the selection and the inventory. Their shoes are super cute and their jean prices were very reasonable. I also really like that they have fitting rooms. A lot of places like this do not so you’re just gambling, but having them was super nice. I also like their dress collection. Very fun store.”
“You just drive in, put the clothes in the metal boxes and you take anything else right in and drop it at the door very easy.I've never purchased anything there , but I drop things off”
