“From the second we walked in the door at Matterns, we were treated like family. They did not act like salesmen trying to sell us something we didn't need. They took the time to explain different models and things we did not even consider. We went to a big box store to check out some models there and not pne person spoke to us the whole time. We knew then that we would be heading back to Matterns for our purchase! Delivery was seamless and professional ?. Competitive pricing and excellent service all around. We will get all of our appliances from Matterns and spread the word to others too!”

Their employees were polite, local, and worked as a team with a positive attitude. Compare that to the box box stores, where they sell, then some subcontractor from Philly shows up with workers that don't care. We have done that. No more.

“My husband and I recently built a custom home. As you can imagine, the task of choosing everything from tile to flooring to paint to grout colors seemed insurmountable. But then we also had to choose appliances. All of the appliances including a range, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher and washer/dryer. We scheduled time with Matt Westerfer who listened to the things that were important to us and listened to things that we felt we (I) had to have and offered some serious, honest advice. Even demonstrating why one feature that I was very interested in is likely not the best feature for us (and he was right). He put together a proposal with four different lines to choose from. We had a few follow up questions, nothing too heavy duty, and within a few weeks made our decisions. Fast forward a few months and they coordinated delivery and installation with our builder. The amazing thing about Keiffers that you will not find at a big box store, is that Matt's service didn't end there. We had a little difficulty with a manufacturer who shall remain nameless, and after a few service calls, Matt stepped in (while at home with a newborn!) and resolved the problem for us. Keiffers is family owned and operated with happy, helpful team members...and it shows. You're not getting that at a big box store. I have told everyone how great our experience has been. Hopefully we don't need any appliances any time soon, but we will surely return to Keiffers when the time comes. ~ Michele and Carmen Daddona”

“Kris the manager went above and beyond helping me straighten out a hot water heater situation that was a bad purchase on my part. Really, Rheem should be ashamed of themselves for selling The Gladiator heater to begin with. Kris had everything ready to get credit back on my credit card and purchase another model when he very easily could have made me go through store credit route and and wait for the difference to eventually show back up on my credit card. I appreciate his effort in making the entire night mare of a situation slightly easier. I'm going to have HOT WATER TODAY!!!!”
“Good team good items I went in to rent a temporary laptop while my desktop was being repaired and the process was smooth and simple ... not drawn out like back in the day when you had to pull out your moms social and have a arm length list of references. It went really well. the Team and manager was very patient and thorough went over the terms in detail whole process took about 30 -40 mins from in the door and out”

“DO NOT BUY APPLIANCES FROM HOME DEPOT. They use RAS, which I'm almost sure their "big box" competitor does also. I've had more appliances damaged in delivery from RAS, then delivered without issue. Some were three deliveries to get me an appliance without a scratch, ding, dent. PLEASE put the extra money out and go to an independent dealer. “We had a solid experience with the contractors that came out to help install our new appliances (and a few other things).
I think they were installed right because there's no gas smell and everything in our kitchen works and looks fine.
The downside though: communication and installation speed.
We picked a delivery day when we ordered, but arrival window was communicated the day before, which was annoying. Glad we were able to move around some work stuff so we were available.
The other downside was how fast they installed things. Might sound weird, but it was so fast I was worried they skipped steps. The oven and microwave were installed in 15 min (including removal of the old ones). We blinked and it was done. Still kinda paranoid they didn't pay close enough attention to detail.
I also had to adjust burner flame hight myself (the last appliance store did that for you), and both appliances had a number of grease smudges on them.
But overall, for the price, we're happy.”

“Josh is the Man!
I own a rental that has an 80 year old woman living their that has health problems. The AC stopped working, I troubleshot that the 50/5 capacitor was defective. This Woman really needs the air conditioning. I called Josh at Johnstone Supply in Hatfield 4 minutes before closing at 4:56pm. All other HVAC supply stores were already closed at 4:30pm. Most customer service people would just not answer the phone so close to the closing time. Josh answered, I told him what I was dealing with & that I would really appreciate it if I could pay by credit card for the capacitor and pick it up outside the store because it would take another 1/2 hour to get there. I told Josh I would completely take responsibility for the capacitor if it got stolen. Josh not only said he would be glad to help me but would not accept payment for the capacitor considering the circumstances. I picked up the capacitor where Josh said he left it. I installed the capacitor in the rain where the rental is in Quakertown. AC is working Great!
Josh deserves this review. There should be more people in this world like Josh. Thank You Josh & Johnstone Supply in Hatfield!”
