The facilities are clean and well maintained. We appreciated the inclusive environment. I hope to never need the emergency vet again but if we do we will travel to Blue Pearl in Conshohocken.

What pushed this experience to five stars is Abel (the owner), he was super friendly and accommodating. He allowed us to sample some high-quality alcohol and even gave us free trinkets at the end of dinner. Would highly recommend giving this place a visit!

The Gypsy Saloon
128 Ford Street, ConshohockenFirst, let me start by saying that we don’t dine in Conshy very often anymore because parking has become so difficult. We had a 4:30 p.m. reservation, mainly because we couldn’t find anything available until after 9:00 p.m. What I couldn’t understand was the restaurant and bar had plenty of open tables and seats at the bar. So, I’m not sure why there were no reservations available.
We were lucky enough to find street parking somewhat close to the restaurant.
The restaurant itself is unique and cozy… and our waitress was very friendly and helpful when we had a few questions about the menu.
We started with the Crab Tower appetizer, which was good. The fried calamari was tender and not chewy—excellent.
I had the Sesame Ahi Tuna Steak. Again, it was good, but there really wasn’t anything about it that made you say, “Wow!” My wife had the Linguine Fra Diavolo and really liked it. There was an additional $10 charge for three shrimp. She felt that for $10, four or five shrimp would have been a fair price.
With all that being said, I’ll leave it up to you whether you want to give The Gypsy Saloon a try. I’m not saying you shouldn’t visit. We had a nice evening, but for us, there just wasn’t anything that really stood out enough to make us say we need to come back.

729 East Hector Street, ConshohockenWe held a baby shower at Bar Lucca, and the event was perfect! From planning to execution, from atmosphere to the food, if I could give it more than 5 stars I would. Our guests loved the pizza, fried eggplant, bucatini pasta, and smoked chicken sandwiches. And don’t get me started on their delicious pistachio gelato! More importantly, they take dietary restrictions seriously. They were willing and able to accommodate gluten free dining for a guest with celiac. All of my guest’s commented how friendly and helpful the staff were. They anticipated our needs and made the day so enjoyable! I always enjoyed dining at Bar Lucca, and now having an event there I can say that is a top notch venue.

And what got me to write this review was the creativity in the July’s Special Menu board. It’s so cute and readable! I will admit, last June’s board was not it at all. Super confusing and all over the place, could barely read it. But this month’s board is pretty and organized!! This should be the format going forward please!!!!

Both the cheese steak and the pork sandwich were terrible, and after giving it a 3rd shot after 2 prior meals is just disappointing. I'm n Italian foodie and I KNOW go9d food when I have it Beautiful restaurant and so close to home, but to be honest, YOU NEED A NEW CHEF!! U til then, I won't be back!

19 E Ridge Pike, ConshohockenI adopted my precious, sweet and loving Niko toy poodle here. He was 10 months old in the year 2008. He recently passed away. He is the child I could never have. He was 19 years old! We were together through everything!! And he was the best boy!!
I have been blessed to have adopted his sister Pebbles also from the SPCA Montgomery county and precious sweet bonbon who at the time was a senior.
When she passed my Niko was so sad and I adopted Pebbles. the two were best friends.
You can't by love but you can adopt it! You can rescue! And then wonder who rescued who??
