“I love, love, love this place! It's perhaps the best place to find antiques and treasures in the area (I say "perhaps" because I'm also partial to the Curiosity Shoppe, Antiques and More, located up the mountain in Patton, PA). Fine Furniture Resale is opened Tuesday through Friday 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. My advice is to stop in whenever you drive through Ashville: New items are added all the time, and trust me, things sometimes sell very quickly! I once stopped in and checked out a living room suite that had not yet been unloaded from the delivery truck. By the time I talked over the items with Hubby and called Fran, the owner, a few days later to let her know I wanted the items, they were already taken. Since then, I've been lucky enough to pick up brass lamps, an oil painting from the 1930s, and an AMAZING set of leather chairs at Fine Furniture Resale. Everything in the store is very reasonably priced. Plus, the owner, is one of the nicest people you will ever meet, and everyone at the shop is always helpful and friendly. That's what makes this one of my favorite places to shop!”

“My, where to start with this place? I really don't know where. I have been out making many trips to different thrift stores a lot recently. Of course when you tell family and friends that you are doing this they always tell you about different places to try. My dad had kept bringing this place up and I finally caved and made my way here. He had forewarned me that this place looks disheveled from the outside but to not back away. I pulled up and thought that I had to be in the absolute wrong place. I thought I had stumbled upon a hoarders property and that I may be trespassing. Well, I wasn't. It's just that this place has so much stuff in it that it looks like it is spewing outwards. Some people might say that this really is a hoarders paradise because once you are inside it is going to take you a very long time to navigate and look. Everything that you can think of is under this very large roof. It is kind of organized, but I'm not sure what type of organization they were aiming for here. Just when you think that you are done, there's more. I was a bit apprehensive to go into the other part of the building because I thought it was storage. It's not, it's just more items. Lots and lots of furniture, some you will have to climb to see. I could list the type of items you would find in here, but it would be way too long of a list. I mean, if you can think of it, they probably have it somewhere in here. Definitely worth a trip to the area.”
