“This place is outstanding! I hit a tree that was laying across the road from a wind storm. One of the limbs punctured my transmission. I had it towed to “my” mechanic who called me the next day and said he couldn’t repair it. He “highly” recommended Sotdoris Motors and I had it towed there. As soon as it got there I received a call from Jeremy who explained everything I needed to know. He had a new transmission and had it in within a week. I am very pleased with the work he did, the quick turnaround time, and especially the price!!!

“Went in with a 2013 Ford Fusion shifting very hard out of park. It would pull out in a high gear that felt like trans slipping, and no sport mode. We were expecting a huge problem with a huge price tag. Dropped it off and within an hour or two Joe called back and had found the problem- a broken wire on a sensor. He replaced it and we picked our car up the next day and gladly paid them a very reasonable bill. I appreciate that he found a simple issue ( simple for them) so quickly and fixed it keeping the costs down. Thanks!”

“My transmission crapped out on us half way through the bay bridge headed to Delaware. I spent a couple days doing research and I came across York Transmission. Mind you I live in MD, the guys here at York Transmission are HONEST, they are professionals at their craft. They kept me updated throughout the whole process and even showed me what went wrong and what they were doing to fix the problem. They even upgraded some of the parts since the ones from GM are junk.I couldn’t be more thankful for them, especially when I felt like all the shops around me here in MD were cash grabs. “This is the only shop I’ve taken classic/retro cars to that hasn’t disappointed me one bit. I had an 86 corvette that was totaled in August of 2023 and I had 3 shops deine looking at it and one tell me the frame was trashed and couldn’t be save but Whitmer and their crew discovered the frame was perfectly within spec and they fixed the car with an alignment and a few tie rod ends. As far as I’m concerned they are the only show working on my corvette from now. I’ve started taking my Fiero’s there as well and they do great service with those odd little cars too. They are great people to deal with and they are always super helpful and quick to get me an appointment. Strongly recommend to anyone with classics, exotics, odd balls, etc…”
