“We had an absolutely fantastic experience at Ski Valley Bike, Board, Ski & Skate! We went in hoping to find my husband his first pair of new ski boots, and from the moment we walked through the door, everyone was incredibly welcoming and friendly. After mentioning that we were interested in last-season gear, we were connected with Kelly, who was absolutely amazing. He was extremely knowledgeable about proper ski boot fitting and took the time to carefully assess my husband’s old boots. We quickly learned that his old boots were actually two sizes too big, which explained a lot of his past struggles with fit and comfort. Kelly found him a great pair of last-season boots at an excellent price. The deal was so good that it actually left enough room in our budget to purchase new skis and bindings as well! Kelly walked my husband through the different types of skis and helped him choose a pair that matched his skiing ability and style. They had an incredible selection of skis, boots, and bindings at a range of price points, making it easy to find something that worked for our budget. The service didn’t stop after the purchase. They mounted the bindings free of charge and waxed his skis. My husband also had a small issue with one of the toe boxes on his new boots, and Kelly was able to stretch the boot right there in the shop to make sure it fit properly. It was clear that they genuinely cared about getting the fit right rather than simply making a sale. I would highly recommend making the trip to see Kelly, even if you’re coming from an hour away. If you want knowledgeable service, fair prices, and properly fitted ski gear, this is absolutely the place to go!”
