“I will start out by saying that my wife and I were with a tour group. We checked in, put our things in our room and went to dinner. When we got back we went to get in our room and the card reader didn't work. I went back to the desk and Stefanie changed a reprogrammed the cards three times with the third time coming up with me. She tried the cards and her master didn't work either. She said she had been there almost a year and this had never happened before. She said that they had a routine check of each door every morning. The thing obviously just broke after our first time using it. She then called Linda the district mgr. who was out and became i'll. She called Diana the mgr and said that they would be there in 20 mins. Pretty close to the time she and her husband came with a tool to unlock it from the inside. It took a while to open and after they did they put us in another room and kept apologizing for the problem. It wan't their fault! Things happen. Things break. She asked if she could get us something to drink and brought up things to drink along with snacks. Both girls were so nice and I knew they were very sincere. Which to me after being in retail for 21 years, knew they cared about their customers. Stefanie even brought a chair into the hall for my wife while we waited. The girls put us in another room and everything went fine for the rest of our stay. The next day we got back later in the day and there was a very nice note with a giftcard enclosed from Linda. They didn't need to do that! I didn't expect anything.
This is the type of service and stay you remember the most. These girls were really great and I would recommend Tru in Denver to anyone. The room was very clean, bed was comfortable and breakfast variety was very good. Top it off with coffee, tea or hot chocolate 24 hrs a day.
I don't usually write a book on a hotel stay, but to me this place is exceptional. Staff is excellent!
When I visit the area again, I know where I'll be staying!
The owner of this hotel should be very happy that the employees taking care of his building here do a great job! That doesn't happen everywhere.”

“This review is more about Christian B the 3rd shift desk manager. We checked in late just as he was starting his shift. He was phenomenal. Super friendly, courteous and did a great job with 3 separate rooms for us. After I was up in my room a while I needed snacks so came down to the store next to check-in. Had a great 20+ min. conversation with Christian. Talked about life and also his job. Said he really like doing the books and everything asked of him. Was like talking to a friend but had just met him. He is a wonderful asset for the company and deserves accolades from them and deserves everything available to have him a long term employee. The people I drove for paid for my room so I won't be on any check in information. L. Miller paid. I was in rm #202. Myself and 2 Amish couples stayed here night of May 15 with a 11 pm. check in time. Suites were very comfortable and clean. I'm tall and my bed was the first one I've EVER had long enough bedding that actually came up all the way to my neck. My comfort level.”
