“I truly cannot say enough good things about Terrain at Devon Yards. We got married here in August 2026 and they are an absolute well-oiled machine - and I mean that in the best possible way. I do not exaggerate when I say that I was never worried once on our wedding day or in the weeks leading up to it.

You can tell this is a venue that has seen everything, thought through every possible scenario, and knows exactly how to handle whatever comes their way. As a bride, being able to actually enjoy the day and trust that everything was being taken care of behind the scenes was invaluable.

And our coordinator, Eileen, was absolutely unreal. She was attentive, calm, incredibly professional, and a total class act. She was truly the captain of the ship, and I had complete confidence in her from start to finish.

Beyond how beautifully everything came together, what stands out most to me is how taken care of we felt. We were able to be completely present at our wedding because we knew Eileen and the entire Terrain team had everything handled.

I would recommend getting married at Terrain at Devon Yards all day, every day. If you want a gorgeous venue AND a team that you can genuinely trust to execute your wedding seamlessly, this is the place. We could not have been happier with our experience.”

The owner the staff to include the bartenders are five star when it comes to customer service when it comes to working with you when it comes to giving you ideas to help you plan whatever event you’re booking for. The venue is absolutely beautiful with the most scenic backdrop, nestled in Valley Forge National Park. The tent provided an incredible open and airy space to celebrate with all of our loved ones. The valet parking was perfect for guest parking and the staff was incredible. We could not recommend Philander Chase Knox Estate enough!”

“We got married at the end of August at the Ballroom at Ellis Preserve and had an incredible wedding! We worked with Megan from the beginning, and she helped make the planning process very seamless. Megan has incredible attention to detail and always answered our questions in a timely matter.

My bridesmaids and I chose to get ready in the bridal suite with the early 8am entry. This was an amazing decision as it set up good vibes for the rest of the day at the venue. Our AM bridal attendant, Hayley, was very sweet and helpful.

Our Maitre D, Nikki, did an excellent job coordinating the day-of timeline with the vendors and keeping everything running smoothly. We received so many compliments from our guests regarding the venue space, the food quality, the friendly staff, and much more. Additionally, with two hotels in walking distance, it’s an ideal location for guests. We couldn’t recommend the Ballroom at Ellis Preserve enough.”

“I had such a wonderful afternoon exploring this place recently. The grounds are absolutely massive and incredibly well-maintained, with so many different paths to wander through and discover. It was the perfect escape to get out into nature for a while, and the diversity of the trees and plants is really impressive. “I have photographed many lovely weddings at the Duportail House in Chesterbrook, PA. This property is gorgeous for a wedding! Perfect backdrops for photography include an old barn, a porch with ornate fencing, a bridge with a creek, old trees, and manicured gardens. You step back in time in this 1740 farmhouse. The bride and groom had their cocktail hour before the ceremony, and then the ceremony behind the old barn. The light swept across the barn perfectly and was stunning on the bride's face during their vows. This charming venue is run efficiently and is a historical treasure. Perfect for an intimate wedding!”

“Potential renters need to understand that this is a special, historical, volunteer-run venue and they have specific reasons for what they expect, what they do and how they do it because they're a non-profit. Yes, there are three lavatories, the kitchen is in the basement, and it's best for intimate celebrations - they're upfront about these things. If the space doesn't work for your needs, there are plenty of Red Lobsters, VFW's, and country club spaces you can rent in the area. Don't blame them for being a non-profit with limited hours - the women running the space do the best they can while being full-time professionals and mothers. My daughter-in-law had her reception here years ago and it was lovely. She read the rules, asked good questions and reached out in a timely manner. No venue is perfect, but the Saturday Club is a piece of history and you should feel honored that it exists for you to make memories in.”

Lynn was our coordinator and she was absolutely amazing! She was prompt when answering our questions and made sure our wedding day went seamlessly. She helped to make our wedding planning easy and stress-free. It did end up raining right before our ceremony started, however Lynn was able to quickly and efficiently coordinate having the ceremony inside - it turned out perfect! Jeffery A. “Good evening Family. I visited the Ardmore Food Pantry today with my neighbor, Sadie. Ardmore Food pantry is in St Mary's. This was my first time. We were required to bring our own shopping bags. St Mary's serves the community on Mondays 10:30 am to noon and 5:30 to 7pm also on Mondays. They also serve a delicious dinner at 5:30 pm. They have tickets for a raffle which you do not have to purchase and you win prizes. They have free coffee, cookie bars, Danish and blueberries and strawberries to sample before you gather your free items of food. Everyone is very friendly here. We sat around the breakfast table first then we sat at the table #5. They call each table and then you get up with your bags and collect your food and place in your bag. They have volunteers to hand out and monitor each person obtaining their food choices. There are rest rooms here. There is plenty of parking in the parking lot. I had a good experience today. Have a good night, be active and mobile especially for people over the age of 50 years.”

“PENDLE Hill is historic ( read: a bit funky from a loving califorian perspective)..But you can feel the vibe/ feng shui left by generations of devoted retreatants of diverse denominations. And the current staff is dedicated , hardworking and warm. They create a good foundation for any kind of retreat or group experience.And the grounds too are lovely frequented by many birds. deer etc”

“I’ve been fortunate to attend our companies offsite here for the past two years, and it’s been a fantastic experience both times. We reserve one of the conference rooms for a few days, and everything from start to finish has always been smooth and well-organized.

The staff really stands out. This year, Karima (Front Desk and Housekeeping Supervisor) was especially memorable - super energetic, friendly, and genuinely fun to interact with. Every time I passed by, she had me laughing. Honestly, every staff member we interacted with was welcoming and attentive, which made a big difference for a group event like ours.

We had food catered during our sessions, and the team did a great job making sure everything was set up on time, refreshed as needed, and cleared quickly. They also had thoughtful snacks and goodies available between sessions, which everyone appreciated.

The room itself was perfect. Clean, comfortable, and I had an awesome view of the pond - it was partially frozen when I arrived and had thawed out by the time I left, which was a cool touch. I also stopped by the front desk for directions at one point, and they were quick and helpful.

One of the highlights was a private dinner we hosted on-site in the mansion - the food was delicious, and the drinks were a great addition to the experience.

Overall, this is a great spot for corporate offsites or events. The combination of the setting, service, and attention to detail makes it easy to recommend. Already looking forward to being back next year.”

“I attended a birthday party here but also helped with set up and breakdown.

The venue is not visible from the road as its hidden behind the 7Eleven and pizzeria. A private parking lot fits a good amount of cars. It’s a single level hall with a separate reception area up front and a windowless dining area thereafter. I’d guesstimate it can fit around 200 people.

Set up started the night before but continued the next day about 3 hours prior to the party. Being July, it was very muggy out and the a/c was either on at a high temp or not on at all, so setting up was uncomfortable. The tile floors were also very slippery - a result of the a/c’s temp it tuns out, as after it was on at a normal temp, the slipperiness dissipated.

They have 10-seater rounds, high tops, chairs, a bar space and WiFi. I was told there was no stove or oven to warm things up which would’ve been helpful.”

“We held my daughter’s bridal shower at the farmhouse and it could not have been better. Dawn was the best person to work with! She was always kind and patient as well as efficient and accommodating. The food was perfect, flavorful and presented well. Our event turned out beautifully, thanks to her and her wonderful staff. Highly recommend this venue for any events you are planning!”

“I was compelled to write a review for the 1912 club to share my great experience. I have attended the club on two separate occasions. I played in a golf outing and I was impressed. The course was challenging and in great shape. I played this course years ago before it became the 1912 Club and it was night and day as far as drastic change goes. I also attended a wedding there last fall and came away with another positive experience. The staff was friendly and professional. The food did not disappoint as well. I would recommend this club to my coworkers, friends and family for future events .”

“My wife and I have lived here for going on 11 years. From day 1 we knew we made the right choice. Yes there are landscapers and snow removal contractors so we don’t have to do it. And yes there are contractors at times making necessary repairs. Don’t committed homeowners need to do this? With 1710 units clustered over 800 acres we have more open space not counting the golf course than most communities in Chester County. The amenities are amazing as are the vistas. Second best thing we did!”

“I did Book of Secrets theme with a friend. The room master(s) might've had to navigate multiple rooms at once. Priced about right for what you get. The flow of the room was mostly good and staff very friendly. There was a red button that my friend and I misunderstood to be the exit room button versus a button that could be used in the room itself.”

“Best I’ve skating rink in Springfield. The staff are really friendly and there are tools to help you for beginner skaters. You can see the Zamboni going around it if you go early and they rent skates. You can also come for hockey games and other ice sports.”

“Every event that I have attended at the event space has been and experience of life time!!!! I’m saying the decorations be amazing, down to the DJ be playing them crazy throwbacks mixed with a lil ghetto and ratchet music lol but I love it!!! The food is bussing!!! The bar is amazing!!! Dranks be banging!!! Makes me never wanna leave!!! I love the hospitality in the space, love the atmosphere, very spacious & welcoming!!! “This venue is a great choice for hosting gatherings or parties for any occasion. It's a medium-sized space with reasonable pricing, and they offer catering services. You have the option of roadside metered parking ?️ or free parking in the nearby neighborhood. ?”
