“We had a fine stay here recently while in the area for a conference.
The front desk staff was helpful, professional, and checked us in quickly. They were also incredibly helpful when I later needed to have a document printed.
As for the room...
Pros:
- clean and quiet
- good amount of space, lighting, and plentiful outlets
- kitchen was nice
- good water pressure in the shower
- recent renovation looked nice on the surface
- comfortable
- air conditioning worked well
Cons:
- vinyl plank floor was starting to bubble, especially in the bathroom
- one of the closet doors would not stay open without holding it
- bathroom had extremely small area for tub and toilet
- having the sink outside the bathroom and right next to the bed is not a good setup, especially for privacy
- bathroom door was difficult to close completely
- internet speed was extremely slow
- breakfast offerings were lacking, although that may just be the brand standard
Overall though, it was a good stay; we did find the room restful and slept well, which is the most important part of a hotel stay for us!”
“Did not disappoint! Had to check out of the Holiday Inn Express across the street because it was dirty and smelled terrible. But Best Western came to our rescue! Staff was very welcoming and helped us find two rooms. Very clean and tidy! Very impressed.”
“The hotel is located next to the 81 Turnpike, with multiple shopping centers and restaurants nearby. I initially wanted to stay in the countryside, but having everything you need for daily life just next door is convenient. Mechanicsburg is a nice town to walk around in. The hotel offers comfortable rooms and a very good breakfast, along with ample parking for vehicles of all sizes.
Previously, I stayed in a similar category Marriott hotel in Carlisle, but I have now decided to prefer this location for my business visits. I do have one request for the hotel manager: it would be great to change the size of the water bottles provided at check-in so that each guest has a bottle to drink from.”
“Robin the front receptionist was wonderful. She made sure all our family from out of town for the weekend was on the same floor and close to each other. She made my family from Florida feel really welcome. The hotel was full that weekend and staff was very accommodating to our needs. Have stayed there many times and have 2 more trips coming up in May. Reservations are made. See you all soon! Thank you for your hospitality. Larry and Cindy Lewis”

“Rooms are big, beds are comfy..customer service is top tier were ihg members hubby teaches a motorcycle class nearby doesn't get over till 230pm we asked for late check out so I'm not sitting in the cold, the manager didn't hesitate gave me till 130pm made my day allot easier and left a nice tip for housekeeping cuz I know it put them behind, we will be back for sure”

“This motel is the better stay. I was at budget inn. Wasn't best experience. We went to American inn . More room , clean, great staff, our pets and ourself very good stay. So glad we had got in here. Really made our life better with the stress we had. They made our stay welcome and safe. Highly recommend this place. Don't believe the bad reviews we been here for a few months and feel it is a really good place to be. This motel is very nice.

“Rooms very clean,staff very friendly! The manager Joe is a very nice guy...I had to wake him up at 330 am because between me and my dog,I got locked out of my room....he made me another key and didn't complain even though I apologized endlessly.Noteworthy details: Pet friendly”

Bed was stuff but the sheets were warm n comfy
The eye piece in the door of 130 was missing but there was paper thankfully to replace it
Not like I was expecting anyone at my door lol
Would sleep here again”
