“The PNP program is very rigorous and intense! However, the curriculum does indeed prepare you 200% for what’s to come following graduation and passing the Nclex. Now that I am licensed and working, I def know that I made a great choice by choosing this school. I was class president of my cohort, and I would ONLY recommend this PNP program if you are self-driven, self-motivated, & highly confident in your capabilities of becoming a great Nurse!!!!”
“One of the best spots in the area for a peaceful walk or run. I’ve visited in every season and it’s a favorite year-round. The trails are clearly marked and well maintained. It’s scenic both in the fall when the leaves change and in the spring when everything is green and flowers are in bloom. Parking can be a challenge during peak hours since the lot is fairly small, so it’s best to go earlier or later on nice days, especially on weekends.”
“I enjoyed the Natural Lands ChesLen Preserve. The trails and overviews were nice. I also liked the historical sites along the way including the Stargazers' stone and Potters Field”
“Phenomenal place the only negative was having to listen to a staff member or a volunteer curse up a storm for like 10 minutes when I was lacing up my sneaks outside of that amazing ? !!!
Closed on Tuesdays”
“Thank you, Habitat, for your quick response to picking up items from my late brother's home, for being willing to be flexible with day/time since I don't reside at the home.”

“I've been going to this event since it started as a small 20 pumpkin display in the Brandywine River museum parking lot. The issue is, it's grown too big. The parking lot line is ridiculous, the walk to get to the place isn't easy for those who have trouble walking, the food vendor lines are long and expensive ( taco people, add more meat to your tacos please!), and the lines to see the pumpkins are slow and sometimes several people deep to see them. Maybe time for the planning committee to seek another possibility, bigger place, etc. It's not safe on that road if there was an emergency and probably a pain for those who live there. It's a fun night but getting too crowded. Kind of like Linvillea got too big in my opinion.”
“Great place for art classes for people of all ages and summer camps for kids ages 5-17! There is also a fantastic gift shop and art galleries showcasing the work of local artists!”
“we were definitely blessed to have Dean do our Much needed at home renovations. He's amazing at his job and definitely a good person.... He worked hard for hours every day until the job was done. We were sad to see him go. We were so used to seeing Him every day he became like family”
“It was more than just volunteering for me. I wouldn’t be able to mention all the experiences I had. However, here’s what I’ve got.
I went there as a volunteer in my final year as a teenager. So, it was kind of my teenhood. The memories were precious, with all the silly and amazing things I did with my friends. I feel like it’s something you should experience at least once in your childhood because I never shut up about that year.
It felt like my second home. It was a place that allowed me to be myself without criticism. I found myself being myself, and my household was comfortable with me being so. That meant a lot.
I learned a lot about living with people and life skills. I made good friends. I feel like I became a more wholesome person after that year was over.
It was a very good place that embraced me. I always feel like going back to visit when life starts to roast me or when I feel too much. This place wasn’t teaching me directly — instead, it made me understand things for myself. It was just the perfect place at the perfect time.
Still have more but...isn't it even better if you experience it yourself?”
“We attended a Company-host-event(NP sponsorship w. a tent & complementary tickets/parking) in early May 2025, best ever horse race show and perfect weather! A lot of kids(under 12 go for free), dogs(on leash at all times), fancy hats!
Oh…forgot to mention there’s a fabulous antique car show on the side ^^pre-1985 car got deep discounted admission/tickets.”
“I walk here every morning with my dog. It's the most beautiful place. People are friendly when they pass. Horse riders always say good morning. It's amazing thing to do before work.”
“I have a family member living here and always enjoy my visits. The staff is always friendly, professional, and helpful. They make it feel like a home. The grounds are quite beautiful too. And I've eaten there a few times while visiting. It's a great selection and the food is delicious. They've done a fantastic job keeping the residents safe through covid also. Sometimes I wish I lived there!”
